Any out there that are very straight foward and a smaller condensed version of the body language dictionary?

definitive book of body language... great book and shows pics for almost all of the different body laungage motions or poses and goes through them... and is made like a dictionary so I think its what you are looking for.

I'll second the definitive book on body language, very good read. Looks long, but reads fast, very informative.

I've heard that The Power of Body Language by Tonya Reiman is a good book. She often has a segment on The O'Reilly Factor on FoxNews.

Paul Ekman is one of the world leading experts on facial expression and their connection with emotion. I have been told his book Unmasking the Face is his best book for the lay person. I haven't read it though.

All books mentioned are very good. All give you a general idea in the many aspects of the human character and non verbal cues and communication, both positive and negative.

I wrote a quick summary geared more toward PU.

I second that.

I read this book five minutes at a time. It's very clear and illustrated; I retained all of it. Right now I'm looking for a second book.

A great way to DHV is to open a group and ask if your readings about them were correct. Good conversation, makes you look interesting and outgoing.

F**k yeah, that sounds like a great opener.

The canonical book on body language is by Julius Fast. It's called Body Language. I personally think its rubbish. He always has a book on sexual chemistry which is also subpar. I would recommend the Naked Ape by Desmond Morris, which is a brilliant book per se, but it also includes a great section about alpha male characteristics in apes and humans.

Pick me, pick me! Packed full of photos and specific to PUA. See my sig, you wont be disappointed. No other book is as complete for dating with respect to body language. The definitive book is good, but only has a few pages on dating body language and those pages aren't the greatest either. I respect his approach for business BL though.
