What should i be wearing when i go clubbing when its hot ? Currently i wear a good fitting ( not too tight ) Chino + White / Light Blue V Neck Shirt some leather jewellery and a straw hat . What do you guys wear on a nightout in summer ? I dont think wearing shorts are a good idea do you ?

You can wear a hat too because that seems to get me a lot of attention depending on how interesting it is. I like my shirts to be vibrant in color. Not like neon, but something along the lines of easter colors: pink, blue, yellow, etc.

But in seriousness, it depends on what sort of club you go to. I go to some fairly grotty indie/rock type clubs and I'm not sure even in those I'd get in with shorts on. Hats often are frowned upon too, even in these (this is talking about indie/rock type clubs in Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle and Nottingham so can't speak for Brighton). I also go to more mainstream clubs and these are usually even stricter on dress code.
Chinos and a blue vneck sounds perfectly fine for me. Accessorise it well and you can still look fine. If you can get away with a hat, then go for it, but bear in mind that if you're forced to take it off to get into a club you're not going to have very good hair!
