This might be a controversial post..

All PUAs encourage to dress in swashbuckling styles, wear brand clothing, perfect hairstyles, etc etc..

Want a little secret? Women don't like it. All these dressing and fashion advice turns you into a metrosexual. Which is seen by women as weak and feminine.

Now u will argue that u have heard woman compliment someone on their spectacular clothing or how they like well dressed men. This is again one area where women say one thing and respond to another. They may like a man's clothing but it doesn't turn her on. What turns them on is a rough and rugged style.

Its ironic how everyone rants about being masculine and and presents themselves in the most feminine ways possible. Think about the most masculine guys ever born..Kirk Douglas, Clint Eastwood etc..they were paragons of masculinity. Learn to dress like them..Am I asking you to stop caring about your clothes and start looking like a bum? No. There is a fine line between looking rugged and looking like u haven't showered for days.

So for God's sakes, stop trying to dress like movie stars. Anyone who reads magazines knows how every magazine rants about hollywood stars are being feminine these days and masculine era being over. And I assume most guys here are not very masculine and are trying to become more alpha. Very masculine naturals can get away with metrosexual clothing but no so much for others. So stop being metrosexual and feminine..be rugged, tough and masculine.

P.S: Piercings and tattoos are good.. they add to masculinity..

You're stupid...

I don't dress the way I do for women. I dress that way because I like it.
So what some women don't think I'm masculine and think I'm weak? Ok fuck them. I could care less.
Other women said I'm the most manly guy they know.

Besides it's not the clothes that make the man but the man himself.

Piercing and tattoos don't make you more manly...
Just shut up and stop embarrassing yourself while you still have a chance.

Looks are subjective. Some girls like the manly men. Some girls like the pretty boys.

Why are Zac Efron and That twilight dude popular? They aren't exactly manly men. But then again I wouldn't say they are metro.

I think this is a trivial discussion. Also this above....no. Some of the gayest dudes I know are tatted up or have a bagillion piercings. Why is it every week we have someone telling me their style is grade fucking A and mine is somehow inferior?

Where is that post by the dude who thinks dressing thug is the way to go?

This is pointless- ultimately the way you dress should be about you- and no one else. Physical appearance is subjective.

You should also consider the tribe of women you're sarging. You want a goth chick, dress goth, you want a biker chick, dress biker ect ect

I'm a 'pretty boy'. I have long, dyed, straightened hair (google Ronnie Radke, like that). Some girls love it, some girls hate it. The point is, some girls love it. I could sit somewhere in the middle and be seen as average from both sets. No thanks.

I tend to attract bisexual girls too.... which has it's advantages.

The idea here is to change what you've been doing so far. Cause it hasn't got you very far. So experiment with everything. After few years you'll find yourself and your style.

As Serj says, who gives a fuck what women think. You did this for yourself. And I hate labels. Metrosexual? That's so one sided. Some women don't like that I shave my chest. Does that make me feminine and metrosexual? I honestly don't care.

I'm not trying to brag here. But I've gone from overweight afc loser to a guy who women tell all the time that he dresses like a model. Does that alone get me laid? No, but in a bar/club she is more likely to talk to me. In social circle game there are girls who want to meet me even if I haven't spoke to the at all. As for turning them on part, I agree to a point. You've gotta have the game and escalate.

As for this part, this is all about finding yourself and experimenting first. This advice sounds like be yourself. Well, being myself hasn't been working for 20 years. And this has more to it than clothing and shit. Join the gym and start training mma, it will make you masculine. But at the same time, you can know interesting stuff that most men in your mma sessions doesn't know. Know about girls shoes, makeup, understand their world, learn from them. The goal here is to create your new identity, and your avatar is just a fine supplicant to that which will naturally follow.

That's individual, but they don't add to your masculinity per se. Tattoos are for good and probably everyone has regrets later on. As for piercings, if you're 17 or 19 go for it. Once you get a job, you'll have to get rid of it.

I disagree. During the last two years I have become metrosexual and I do feel masculine too.
I believe there is a fine line between metrosexual and over the top. You will see me wearing pink shirt, earring, bracelets, necklaces and no one will ever call me feminine or so.
Maybe our understanding what metrosexual is, is different.
From my view - being a metrosexual is a good thing. Over the top - No.
Guess its not only about the clothes.. Since I hit the gym regularly and am doing a bunch of other activities my masculine side is in tack.

Consider this a warning - flaming another user is against the forum rules.

... Wont even stoop to your level.

My point was dress the way you like. Women who also like that style will be interested in you and some women wont. There's nothing you can do to control that.
So fuck it; if people have a problem with how others dress than they have mental problems.

If you have anything to debate go ahead and respond otherwise don't bother.
Also nice job flaming a Google image.

Peace

A Metro-Sexual is a man who spends a lot of time and money on shopping for his appearance.

It is also important to dress at your best and cares about his looks..

Buying a Dolce and Gabbana or any other expensive branded stuff isn't a sin.

I Buy the best clothes that i can afford and then save money and then buy again.

Goes to a barber shop and get my hair trimmed.

Cleaning and bleaching my teeth too.

Going to a SPA for a facial to get rid of black heads and white heads and even pimples.

Trust me MONEY WELL SPENT!

This is just like looks, we all know looks only gets you so far. Just like your clothes will only get you so far. Serj said it best :"..it's not the clothes that make the man but the man himself."

I dress the way I do because I like it I don't do everything I do for woman. I do it for myself. It's me who has to see my own reflection the whole day and be happy with what I see.

And some looks fit some people. Not everyone can look rugged. Not everyone can wear skinny jeans. Everyone has a different style which suits them best, why put a label on it?

Serj - how flamboyant of you, wearing all the colors of the rainbow.

It's a greyscale photograph of a guy wearing all black.

Chick you need to grow up.
