All PUAs encourage to dress in swashbuckling styles, wear brand clothing, perfect hairstyles, etc etc..
The idea here is to change what you've been doing so far. Cause it hasn't got you very far. So experiment with everything. After few years you'll find yourself and your style.

Want a little secret? Women don't like it. All these dressing and fashion advice turns you into a metrosexual. Which is seen by women as weak and feminine.
As Serj says, who gives a fuck what women think. You did this for yourself. And I hate labels. Metrosexual? That's so one sided. Some women don't like that I shave my chest. Does that make me feminine and metrosexual? I honestly don't care.

Now u will argue that u have heard woman compliment someone on their spectacular clothing or how they like well dressed men. This is again one area where women say one thing and respond to another. They may like a man's clothing but it doesn't turn her on. What turns them on is a rough and rugged style.
I'm not trying to brag here. But I've gone from overweight afc loser to a guy who women tell all the time that he dresses like a model. Does that alone get me laid? No, but in a bar/club she is more likely to talk to me. In social circle game there are girls who want to meet me even if I haven't spoke to the at all. As for turning them on part, I agree to a point. You've gotta have the game and escalate.

Its ironic how everyone rants about being masculine and and presents themselves in the most feminine ways possible. Think about the most masculine guys ever born..Kirk Douglas, Clint Eastwood etc..they were paragons of masculinity. Learn to dress like them..Am I asking you to stop caring about your clothes and start looking like a bum? No. There is a fine line between looking rugged and looking like u haven't showered for days.
So for God's sakes, stop trying to dress like movie stars. Anyone who reads magazines knows how every magazine rants about hollywood stars are being feminine these days and masculine era being over. And I assume most guys here are not very masculine and are trying to become more alpha. Very masculine naturals can get away with metrosexual clothing but no so much for others. So stop being metrosexual and feminine..be rugged, tough and masculine.
As for this part, this is all about finding yourself and experimenting first. This advice sounds like be yourself. Well, being myself hasn't been working for 20 years. And this has more to it than clothing and shit. Join the gym and start training mma, it will make you masculine. But at the same time, you can know interesting stuff that most men in your mma sessions doesn't know. Know about girls shoes, makeup, understand their world, learn from them. The goal here is to create your new identity, and your avatar is just a fine supplicant to that which will naturally follow.

P.S: Piercings and tattoos are good.. they add to masculinity..
That's individual, but they don't add to your masculinity per se. Tattoos are for good and probably everyone has regrets later on. As for piercings, if you're 17 or 19 go for it. Once you get a job, you'll have to get rid of it.
