I'd like some help. Being funny is something I like to do, and I like other people that're funny too. But I feel that I could step up my humor and make it more worthwhile if I could just stop laughing and smiling so easily! It's uncontrollable for me, I chuckle and grin at bad jokes, at the wrong time, and just at a lot of jokes in general, and it's ruined so many funny times. What are some ways to keep a straight face and stay serious when telling or hearing the funniest jokes or stories or doing really funny things?

Any help is appreciated, and thanks in advance for.helpful advice rendered. :)

I think about this stuff too. I have a goofy laugh.

One thing I do is geek it out around certan guys or girls. It can be called a persona I suppose. But just go and get it out of your system once or twice a week. I just try to smile more and give a legit laugh less. When I catch myself really laughing it better be really fun. haha.
