Oh my God does anyone else experience a difficulty in 'rocking on your back foot' when delivering an opener? It's so difficult lol. I automatically want to turn my body and chat to them ARGH!!! lol!
Oh and a HB7 complimented me on my voice, it deserved a neg in return, but what a crazy compliment!

Best way to deliver and opener is over the shoulder. you are not quite in the conversation, you are heading away from the girls, thus they have to pull you back in to talk to you. With practice you'll get it right.

About your voice- this means you got tonality right. Congrats! When I was working on my body language there was a time when people started asking me if I dance (which I didn't at the time) but it meant I had reached a healthy, though not perfect, stance. Good voice and body language looks healthy and good, people WILL notice and WILL complement.

The sad thing is I know that's the best stance to have. It's just so many years of being an AFC I have to unlearn the habbits of standing full on! HAHAHA!
I guess I'll work on that today lol!

Her complimenting you doesn't deserve a neg in turn. That's totally miscalibrating her friendliness. Give her a 'thanks' and continue what you were saying or start a new topic. If the compliment was a calculated IOI she threw out there to test or control your frame, then a playful neg (tease) is good.
