well depends on the girl's taste, in my case most the girls i know prefer that i shave my hair, they think i look better shaved. however, the girl am seeing right now is telling she likes men with long hair, so she prefers that i keep the hair

at the moment i have a mid long hair, i've been growing since June 2010, i reached a point that i can make a pony tail (i always wanted to do that)

so in the end it depends on what the girls you meet like, but always do it cause you want to not because the girls told you to

If you have a widows peak+receding hair you will probably want to keep it short or jude lawish, if texture requires.

If you got a good hair line and jaw don't get lazy with your hair unless you want to look boyish but i guess that would then really have to do with age.

Also if you are really bald and your head looks like a dick you may want to grow a well groomed beard to bring attention away from your dick head.

Anyway those are some options.

Yeah! I have a skater/shag haircut, too.

If you wanna pull it off you've got to get it cut right. It needs to be layered really, really good or you'll just look like a stoner.

Also, being clean, and dressing nicely is important to project the "cool" image, and not the stoner douche bag type.

Sandman - bit of haircutting advice. As said in earlier post it's always good to get advice from someone in the business - as I also said, I need to keep my hair fairly short normally. This is because the sides get very puffy and they look a lot better short. But I fancied something a bit new and different. I've got a bit of a widow's peak - nothing too bad at the moment, but thought I'd try something new know why it's still not too terrible!

Question; do you think, with a slight widow's peak, I'd be able to grow a style like this;

Disagree. The length of your hair in itself won't, no. But if you get a hair cut that suits your face shape and looks better on you, then you look better. That helps in itself. but also makes you feel better about yourself, therefore more confident, and will probably be reflected in how you engage with other people.

If you don't think that looking your best has any effect on pick up, then you're wrong I'm afraid. It doesn't matter what style you rock, you're correct there in some ways, but wrong in that some hairstyles look bad on some people, and good on others. Why would you want to have a hairstyle that makes you less attractive than you could be?

well after ive cut my hair ive heard many girls tell me that i look some how hardcore. like the type they would expect to ride a bike. and thay like that! and i feel kinda that way too when i look in the mirror.
besides long hair CAN look awsome but you have to put alot effort and wor in it each day!

I found out that French girls like long hair more.. I didn't had enough time to find out why, but what I found out is that they think it's "cute".

The Dutch girls like short hair more.. They think long hair is dirty & untended.

In Russia it doesn't matter what you have, they kick on all the American, West-European guys with money & looks.

Denmark is different.. Guys over there got other hairstyles. It's worse then Justin Bieber.

Germany is the same as the Netherlands, & I never saw an HB in Belgium.

I just tested out my first beard while sarging for the past week and I found out that the majority of women liked it. This is surprising because I normally have a clean-cut look. Even though the majority liked it, I could tell that a beard INSTANTLY disqualified me with a couple of girls.

The bottom line is that this is something that you should be happy with first, because no hairstyle is going to please all women.

I think it is totally depends on your face shape.

Attached to the girls. I have a long hair 1 month ago. Some girls really like. But some girls hate.

Now i have a short hair. But girls saying to me "We like long hair."

In fact, they don't know what they want!

The main idea is; is long hair good for you, don't cut. If the short hair is suitable for you, cut it. I think, it's up to you. Sure it depends on your face shape.
