@jsmooth: Is that a 'dress belt'? I would get another belt with a bigger width, it doesn't really fit into your outfit. These jeans look a bit too baggy. I would get some designer jeans (True Religion, Diesel, Guess Premium) that would look waaayyy better on you. The under shirt, I would get a tshirt with a V-neck to expose some skin. Frankly, you look like someone who has no style at all.

@T3R4BYT3: Like ckue89 said, get a more fitted shirt. Now it looks like you're swimming in your shirt. I think the belt is just a little bit too long. I know you want to stick it out, but this one sticks out tooooo much :-) The rest looks good though, keep it up.

Guys, I don't want to be a dickhead, just giving my honest opinion and hopefully it will help you.

I appreciate your honesty. Yes that is a dress belt, and you are probably right. No those jeans aren't too baggy, they are the tighest cut my body can manage, outside of the boot cut. Some of us can't afford designer jeans because we have bills to pay, but I'd love some if you want to pay. As far as the V-neck under shirt, well I can't do that until A: I get a better tan or B: I cure my psoriosis. I don't think I want to expose that.

You're last comment of "Frankly, you look like someone who has no style at all." This isn't constructive, this isn't even helpful or polite. Look I'll have you know wearing this outfit 6 yes 6 sets of women opened me to compliment me. Hmmm, maybe smooth isn't doing so bad after all. I agree, I have room for improvement, but this is why I go shopping with women and gay friends.

Thanks everyone for your suggests, I do appreciate them!

I agree on the belt. Actually though, it seems I pull off a thinner dress
belt better when I wear a blazer... I guess because I'm dressier (is that
a word?). :?

Anyway, I applaud you tucking your shirt in. I see the same look all the
time = the untucked shirt. You are actually breaking the norm if you ask me.

I WOULD also say to get a better cut jean, but I can't really tell in the photo.
Just beware the tapered leg and make sure the cuff covers the heel of your
shoe properly. You can also have your blue jeans tailored for a few bucks.
I've seen it done.

But I have to say your avatar says more about your style than anything.
It's all about the attitude. Nothing says, "I'm here" like an index finger in
the face! haha

This is ridiculous  , taking fashion advice from guys. Unless you're gay, or your last name is Klein, I don't wanna hear it.

Wear what works in the field. If dressing like a clown got me laid like a rock star, I'd work in the circus.

Ha, I didn't even realize I didn't respond to your original post.

For the most part, I just peacock by dressing like the models in
magazines(GQ, Details, etc...), just for way less money.

I just find clothes I like in there and try to mimic the styles as close
as possible. This is just the way I see it (I could be wrong), but I
don't really see the styles in magazines a lot on other guys when
I'm out. Of course I live in the south and not in L.A. or anything, but...

Items:

I've started wearing rings recently. One on my index and a hand-me-down
from an old female friend on my pinky... Necklaces as well.

Wristwear...I wear either my nice retro-50's looking silver
watch or my wide-band Fossil watch which practically doubles as
a leather arm band.

Shoes... I have some trendy sneakers (Puma, Converse All-star) I wear,
but for the most part it's either a black or brown dress shoe. I have
found that if you get a dress shoe that is similar to the Aldo type shoes
or just one with an interesting stitch pattern, you will get compliments.

... Argyle socks. It's very subtle cause you don't see them all the time,
but I've been surprise by how often they get noticed.

One of a kind t-shirts... I have an "Alf" shirt I'll pull out every once in
a while and an "Apple" shirt that totally rocks. Both original and O.O.A.K.

Ties... I have some cool ties I'll wear loose around my collared shirts
and a real bowtie that I usually wear completely untied.

lol thanks for your input, fellas.

The shirt is a bit large, yes. It's my brothers.
But it seems much larger in the picture than
it does in person. Trust me, I know better than
to go out in a shirt that looks like a dress :P.

And the belt is long, yes. I agree: that, I DO have
to change. But I just liked the buckle, that's why I
wore it hahaha.

The clothes I wear work for me when I go sarging,
but those "more fitted" ideas for clothes would help
out a lot. Thanks, guys.

It's not the lightest watch I've encountered, that's for sure. But I don't know the exact weight on it. Tried to google it. :(

Does anyone else here shop on http://www.asos.com for clothes?

I generally do most of my clothes shopping on there, and other internet sites, as the clothes shops in town are generally poor, and i can get things that nobody else is wearing which i strive for.

Sometimes i wear skinny jeans, sometimes straight. Bootcut jeans are massively out of fashion imo, as are cut/torn/decorated jeans. A dark wash is preferable.

In the summetime i wear a vest a size too small so it hugs my body, keeping my warm and not looking baggy, and then wear a shirt over the top, usually left open, teamed with accessories. In the autumn/winter months i go for long sleeve shirts, over which i wear v neck knits, usually one colour. Granddad collars look cool with the shirts, as do regular collars. I have a black, grey, and maroon red v necks at present, and want a sky blue, and perhaps a yellow one to go with them. I like to customise how my outfits go, so having different colours of the same item can help avoid looking samey when wearing similar clothing.

Sometimes i go ultra smart casual, and along with the v neck i button up the collar and wear a skinny black tie underneath, and wear very smart shoes, instead of my Converse/Vans. I'm tinkering with getting a pinstripe waistcoast, and maybe a blazer to take things even further, or perhaps wearing dark pinstripe trousers. Would look classy and unique, as everybody wears denim nowadays. The key is to accessorise with things that don't look excessivlely smart, like beads, leather watch, bead necklace, ruffled hair. Not to accessorise too straight laced in essence.

I don't wear hoodies or sweaters or tracksuits items, they generally don't look fashionable to me, as the baggy skater/hoodlum look i don't prefer. Fitted clothing suits my preference.

My advice is to try clothing that slightly scares you with the thought of wearing. Try them on, making sure the outfit is right (not a hoodie with smart trousers and winklepickers, for example), get a feel for new outfits, and incorporate them into your wardrobe. Keep a keen eye on fashion, and try to wear clothes that you're proud of as often as possible, it all helps with the Alpha mindset and confidence in my experience.

I'm willing to critique people's clothing if they're up for that, seems we can use as many fashion consultants as possible.

I want that V-neck so badly, the colour is bright, and not baby blue which can look too chavvish. But £65 is pretty steep...
