I could not believe it, that night I got a #close right there and later I bounced to another place with two sisters, one on each side of me as we entered the place. Still with a ridiculus hairdo. I guess it worked, the switches flipped: Social proof, preselection, humor, center of attention, guts.
Bottom line, peacocking is not about looking good, it is about standing out.

Hmmm.....I guess that's why all the little girls LOVED Sarjay when he was on American Idol last year? When you said this about your hair, he automatically popped in my mind with that freaking stupid ponytail mohawk! Uuuuggghhh!

The guy who introduced me to PUA has really long hair and he's always going on about how great it is. I'd look rare as fuck with long hair though so I'm keeping mine as it is; it's shaved really short and a lot girls seem to like it. My ex FB loved to stroke it, turns out she's not the only one.
