Did you read those at all? Point is breathing from diaphragm, not imagining anything. When you breathe, your chest should not move, but your stomach... And that is only start of it, you need alot of practice for voice too. There is no "magic fix" which you can do in a day, and speak better...
As for goog and gug exercices, there is voice tracks which explain exactly how to do it.

What helped me a lot was doing it in front of a camera. Talk for 2 minutes about something that you feel comfortable and confident talking about. (e.g. one of your hobbies, something you're passionate about, etc.)

Do it normally, then do it again saying something else or the same thing, but this time:

1. Stand up straight. This means you basically stretch yourself to make yourself as tall as possible, then lift your shoulders, push them back and relax them while keeping them back.

2. Take a deep breath.

3. Speak LOUDER than you normally do. If before, your loudness was 5 out of 10, now make it 8 out of 10.

4. As you're speaking louder, make sure you're letting out more air than you normally would. (This is basically a natural reaction to speaking louder)

5. Don't try too hard to talk in a deep voice. If you do it properly, it will happen, and relaxing your throat helps. (Trying too hard makes your voice deeper but also makes you sound like a frog.)

Dude,

There is a book on Amazon called : Develop a Deeper Voice , by Maxime Bellemare and Pierre Kirouac

I had a girly voice before doing the exercices from this book, but now my voice is low and deep. It definitly helps with pick-up. When I speak, people listen to me.. I always had trouble getting attention in sets, but now it's really easy. There are some exercices on voice projection too. This is really good for club game, where you have to speak loud....Seriously this is the best investment i've made in my life. The exercices only take 5 minutes per day too, and the results are permanent. It helped my game big time.

When I was younger and in a young marines unit I had to learn to speak from the diaphragm to prevent loosing my voice. When speaking loud say out the vowels (A,E,I,O,U) and notice how your voice is lower then incorperate it when you lower your level

Let me know if it helps
