Looks like you're making the Trollface in your picture. :P

You look good to me, though. Explain what you mean by "just like every other guy out there"

Plaid button up shirt, stripe button up shirt, jeans.

Just boring. I want to stand out; stand out by having good fashion.

No plaid. You'll look like everyone else out there. Ninja black may not be your best choice either. I've been into a graphic tee phase lately, because they are inexpensive and you can wear them with almost any pair of jeans. And you don't have to worry about somebody else wearing the same shirt as you, since there are so many to choose from. Maybe peacock a little more and wear some man-jewelry.

I probably didn't make it clear that the pic I posted wasn't a sample of my style, just a sample of what I look like, skin tone, hair color/style, to better help with making choices.

I don't wear that gaming, that was just a black sweater I wore to a xmas party that I took a girl to.

Also, I have my right ear pierced once with a small silver hoop, and my left ear pierced twice, with a small silver hoop and a smaller silver hoop right next to it and to the outside of the bigger one.

I really appreciate your comments and your help.

The problem is is that where I'm from (and everywhere else I've been recently) it seems that guys are either wearing plaid button ups or graphic tees. Abercrombie and Fitch or Jersey Style.

I don't want to look like either. Anyone have any suggestions? If you've ever watched VH1's Mystery's The Pickup Artist, they have one episode each season dedicated to fashion and finding an "avatar". That's exactly what I' looking for. A unique look that makes you stand out and look great at the same time.

Since you brought it up, do you or anyone out there have a recommendation on where to buy man jewelry?

I can't find anywhere with decent stuff that isn't hundreds or thousands of dollars.

Can anyone post a link to a site or suggest a store?
