Hi guys,

I'm going to Barcelona this summer but I'm still looking for summer shirts. It have to be casual & not too hot to wear. I look a bit like Ashton Kutcher (see link at the end of this post). Does anyone know what kind of shirts/polo shirts whatever?

I'm looking forward for your reactions!

I'm not entirely sure what you're asking to be honest. Do you want to know whether you should wear a shirt, t-shirt or polo shirt? Or do you want to know which type of each of those you should wear? Or do you want to know where to buy each of those from?

For the first of those questions, it is largely up to your own style. Some people can pull off a t-shirt, others prefer to dress 'smarter' and wear a button up shirt with pretty much everything, and some prefer to go down the middle with a polo shirt. It's entirely up to you. My personal preference is to avoid shirts with short sleeves, as I don't like how they look to be honest. So I would possibly avoid those somewhere warm (because I would want a short sleeved teeshirt or polo), apart from evening wear and going out for meals etc.

The second question - which type of shirt/polo/tee etc. - is again dependent on you, but should be less about 'random' choice. You should match this to things like your lifestyle, your appearance, weight, hair colour, eye colour, complexion etc. For someone who is average weight, I'd make sure that all clothing is slim fitting (not necessarily 'skinny' fit, or tight, but certainly not baggy on you either). Then do a bit of research and find out what colours go well with your skin tone and your hair colour. So, if you've got sort of dark blonde/light brown hair, with a fairly middling complexion that is neither overly tanned nor 'Nordic pale', then you may want to wear earth tones, like browns, dark orangey ochre colours, greens, that sort of thing - and probably avoid anything too vibrant. That's an example - if you're tanned or very pale, have jet black or bleach blonde hair, or very bright eyes of a specific colour, then you'll need to look those things up and wear suitable colours accordingly.

As for where to buy - wherever you want to be honest. This will depend on your budget and your 'style'. If you're a nineteen year old 'indie rock' personality with a limited/mid-range budget, then somewhere like topman would suit you perfectly. If you're stinking rich, and like to dress more 'preppy', then maybe topman isn't going to have the sort of items you like.
