This might be a controversial post..
Want a little secret? Women don't like it. All these dressing and fashion advice turns you into a metrosexual. Which is seen by women as weak and feminine.
Want a bigger secret? That's an absurd generalization and not helpful.

It's very easy to be successful with women and very feminine. Elvis, Johny Depp, Barry Gibb, John Travolta, Errol Flynn. All incredibly feminine and mocked extensively in their time for being "Gay" "Feminine" "Not manly" etc.

The look grabs attention, then it's up to you to be a man. A woman will pick up on a masculine nature in no time and that's what she's really looking for.

I actually read some articles recently that relate very well to this post. Type in femine features male attractiveness on google, you'll find some very good reads.

Basically being the epitome of a "mans man" isn't physically attractive. Physical attractiveness comes from femine qualities of a mans face. High delicate cheekbones, full lips, and a chiseled nose. These seem to be qualities that almost every male model posseses. "pretty boys" get women. Masculine qualities such as; strong jaw, strong brow bone, sharp eyes won't get you far without a femine touch.

The goal is to have balance. For example, brad pitt or Jude law posse masculine qualities and femine ones. Brad pit wouldn't be as good looking with a pencil thin "masculine" mouth or a bigger "masculine" nose. Every man(for the most part) is predominately masculine, so being "metrosexual" creates a much more desirable balance. Good skin, good hair, well done eyebrows, etc; don't take away from masculinty, it helps accent it. Men who are predominately femine can find balance by working out or anything to boost testorone. Boosting testorone changes facial structure to be more masculine.

I'd say the most important thing is dressing in what suits you, not everyone can pull of metrosexual. If your style isn't congruent with who you really are and your body type you'll just look stupid IMO.
