1) Get aviators.
2) Get slim-cut jeans.
3) Stay away from the science-teacher look (aka short-sleeve button-ups)
4) Lose the metal-head goatee.
5) Get some v-neck t-shirts. They flatter everyone
6) Get a heavy, masculine watch
7) Get some slim shoes
Get a great blazer
9) pierce one ear. This says badass. Two ears says lemming.

Yeah I should have addressed that, girls do like facial hair. I would avoid the IT-guy goatee, you might be alright with a chinstrap but don't make it tacky, give it thickness, and make sure your haircut compliments it. Otherwise, I personally just let it grow on the sides maybe 1-2mm and keep the neck clean, and under the jaw clean, and mustache slightly shorter than the sides.

Some girls will say they don't like facial hair, but you can be the judge of that after they complain you poke their thighs too much... My ex got with me while I had what I described above, but she said she thought a chinstrap was cute, so I went with that for a little while. Her HB best friend is also with someone with a chinstrap, and hasn't complained about it. Women like men who are rough around the edges, let your facial hair compliment your personality.

To be honest, I doubt you can really pull that gauge thing off and not look a bit silly. I mean I think it's more for surfers and alternative people if you know what I mean.

I also advise you to buy a few jackets, cool jackets. Then always leave the zip open, it will make you look a lot bulkier and it will broaden you shoulders. Here are some examples of cool jackets (I don't like leather personally):
