Something I noticed now that I am actually looking for it. This is a combo post between Bodylanguage/Dress/Confidence and most important just straight Inner Game.

Back in the 80's all the way up to now people see sunglasses as cool/hip/whatever. There were even songs about them in pretty much every decade since.

Now, recently I have been working on fixing some things that were wrong with my body language. Such as making sure I walk slower, slower head and eye movements, pretty consistant smile across my face. And one of the biggest things I noticed that I did was watch where I was walking. I would consistantly look down, unsure of where I was going. Or after I would greet someone I would glace downward for a half a second before moving on.

Bear with me here I promise these will come together.

So, I have been walking around with my head straight and my eyes up on the horizon. I'm doing this so that I can increase my confidence and show that I am more in control and I know where I am going! I have been noticing something... the sun has been bothering me more and more. So much so that I have been thinking about going out and finding some sunglasses. Then it hit me:
Higher Confidence/Stronger body language= My eyes are raised more = the sun is in my eyes= I need to wear sunglasses.

That is why people with sunglasses have always looked cooler. Not just cause their future was so bright they had to wear shades... but because they actually Felt more confident.

I knew that sunglasses were one of the first things you buy when "stylizing your image"... just never knew why and figured you guys might like to know.

And besides, I am trying to get better at storytelling for my DHV's .... maybe I can use this one as "Me educating a friend on sunglasses" instead of me realizing it.

wow... I do the same looking down thing. although humorous, I believe the reason is that when I was a small child I wasn't looking down, and stepped in dog crap. However I probably have much more advanced peripheral vision now, and can look up without stepping on dog poop...I shall buy me some pimpin aviators and run with it, thanks! :D

The sunnies I have (magnum P.I style aviator thingies with a hint of 70's porn star) are one of my favourite fashion accessories. I have been through about six pairs but i keep buying them because I just love them.
I don't know what it is about awesome sunnies but they just increase your style/badass factor.

I was just walking through NYC on Saturday and I saw all of these rip-off aviators that some old Chinese woman was selling for $18 a piece... Fortunately, the cops were driving by at that moment and she freaked out and took the $6 I was haggling with and didn't charge me anymore for the fake brand aviators. Anyway, I love em. I feel like I belong on Miami Vice or something.
