It's all about peacocking my friend. You have got to liven up your appearance with something people can comment on; something which sets you apart from all the generic wanna-be assholes out there.

Gear up! Get a cool wrist-band and some nice rings that match (don't go overboard here though, or you'll look like you're trying too hard). Hats are a little lame, and wearing sun glasses in a dark nightclub is stupid. Find some cool accessories an be creative!

Suit up! Wear a casual blazer or a cool tie. Nothing cheesy like a Goofy tie or something (unless you incorporate it into your game).

Wear something other than what those guys are wearing and you'll instantly stand out as being different. Which btw. is what PU is all about, so if you're uncomfortable with being different, then you're going to have to learn to live with it :)

Good luck!

One of my guy friends wears nice bow ties when he goes out. You have to be REALLY confident to pull this off but he does it well and it definitely stand out since no one wears bow ties anymore. Every time I'm with him he gets tons of compliments though.

Yeah if you're really confident you could try the bow tie route as gabbythefck suggested, although it works on so few people I don't know if it's worth it (although who knows right?)

Yeah blazers can get really hot and sticky, but you could always take it off and just hang on to it. Be careful though, you don't want to make it seem like a security blanket by holding it like a chump. And the nice thing about a blazer is that you can be all chivalrous and offer it to her when you guys leave the club

Scout around on the internet and look for some cool accessories though, a blazer isn't your only option.
