I used to talk ridiculously fast, but I've slowed my tempo down and I still unfortunately have this stumbling problem. I don't get why I do this...I'm not nervous or anything and I know exactly what I'm going to say. Also, it's not a stutter. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure if we have the same thing but I find some times I'll feel like I'm out of breath in the middle of a sentence and stop or mumble over a few words that I don't think are very important lol. Which obviuously doesn't work. I think my problem might be somewhat related to year round allergies. So something you can try is breathing through your nose more then your mouth if you already breath through your mouth alot. I find its worse when im talking in front of more people because your afraid of having a weird pause or something like that. Soyea my only other advice is just to keep practicing slowing it down thats what I'm working at. These all help and there is something out there called word cluttering but i dont believe thats what I have or I may have it to a small degree. But yea this mite be helpful to you it might not but its helped me out.

Actually, today at school, I made sure to pay a great deal of attention to my speech and ENUNCIATE every syllable CLEARLY. My problem instantly disappeared! I think my problem was that I would just mumble and not say things with vigor.

Instead you are thinking as you speak. Your brain cannot keep up making you screw up your words. _________________ "To Give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift" -Prefontaine

I sorta of do the same. Mainly, make sure you think through what you are going to say. I read very fast and my mouth can't really keep up, it's the same concept... delivering words before your brain has caught up. And talking slowly will place more emphasis on your speech.

Think-pause*-speak
When you speak slowly and articulately, you come out with better material. That's a lesson for life, not just gaming. Speak slowly, softly, and with meaning. Quality over quantity.
*Repeat pauses as necessary, preferably adjoined with extra thinking. _________________ Life is a game. Win.
