Why is my collegiate institution banned from this website?

So I go to log into the website and maybe browse around for a good read and it says that the administrator has banned my school's IP address. It's a college so I fail to see why it would be banned. Can any mods give me some insight on this?

When a banned user has created more than one account, we ban the IP addresses that the user has posted from the most.

I assume that one of these sad trolls attends your school. I'm sorry that the irresponsible online actions of someone else has affected you (and everyone else at your school) in a negative way. Maybe you should find him and give him a nice big "fuck you."

I actually think my school blocked it. I'll have to talk to my school admins. Maybe they called you guys and blocked the site. But I have no clue why they would do that since it is a college : :? .

Can you access the site without logging in? If not - the school has blocked it not us :)
