Quote widget or watched thread widgets

Can we have something like a "watched threads" widget where you can subscribe to important threads because they contain useful information? And have that widget as part of the site?

Also, in threads, there is a chance one might get quoted, so is there any way of receiving a notification of where someone might get quoted? So they may choose to respond to the accordingly (if they want to)?

Just a suggestion.
