In my opinon a balanced diet where your at a caloric maintenance level, if your happy at your current weight.

Humans beings can eat alot of different types of foods (their not allergic too).

Human being for the most part can maintain good helath eating prodominantly natural non process (organic/free range) foods.

I'm a fitness trainer and nutrition consultant. Last year I wrote a book to teach people how to get rid of acne naturally. A huge part of getting rid of acne is proper nutrition. In that book there is a ton of information on nutrition and how to get your body in an optimal state. You can pick it up at homemade-acne-SPAM.com

If you can find an updated version of Men's Health's The Powerfood Nutrition Plan it has about everything you need as far as eating goes whatever your fitness goals may be.

The P90X has a nutrition guide that has helped me. The only problem with it though is that it's kinda strict if you fully follow it.
