all skin care tips welcome but what i really would like to know is how to get a consistant colour to my facial skin. On my forehead i have quite redish skin (possible diet related) i can control acne and such i just would like to have a consistant colour as it would greatly improve my appearence.

First, how old are you? If you are young, you still may be going through puberty...if not, then below should work.

Are you doing any kind of aerobic excercises? If not, then start. Do at least 30 minutes of aerobic exercise per week where you are sweating like a bitch in heat 3 days per week. Sweating will open up the pores on your face/body to help with acne.

If you gym has a sauna, then go in there 2-3 days a week for 20 minutes.

Someone mentioned using Nivea Face Mask (don't laugh, a lot of guys do this) to help with their skin. Its relatively inexpensive but it appears to get good results.

If you are in the sun alot, they put sunscreen on. The sun in your skin's worst enemy.

When you shower, I assume at least once per day and two times per day on your workout days, use a washcloth to clean up those pores on your face. At night, wash your face with a wash cloth. But do not wash it so hard where you start shaffing your skin.

If you eat a lot of chocolate, lower your consumption to not more than 3 (80 calorie) pieces a week.

If you follow this routine, you should start seeing results in 3 weeks (because that is how long it takes for the new skin to come up under the old skin).

Take a vitamin supplement daily (I use Centrum).

If you have red skin spots, you may be allergic to something (maybe food). See your doctor about getting a allergy test done....At least you will know where to start.

Best,
