What do you guys think is the best option?

I don't think wearing glasses is that bad, and looks are not the most important thing to women. But if I didn't have to wear them it would boost my confidence, and I also find them annoying to wear. I know Style got Lasik as part of his makeover, and tbh I am in need of a makeover because I look .. boring.

So the options are:
- continue wearing glasses
- get better looking glasses
- get contact lenses
- get lasik surgery

And that is probably in order of increasing cost.

What do you think about wearing glasses (in general and for sarging), and what do you think about getting Lasik or something if you can afford it?

I've worn glasses all my life. 22 years, I wore glasses. Then 4 months ago, after a break-up, I decided I'd like to see what things were like without them so I got contacts.

1 week after wearing contacts, I got with an outrageous HB that was 6 years older than me and dated her for a while.

2 weeks after that, I had 2 ONS's in the same night, in the same hotel.

Ever since, my game has been sky-rocketing.

I'm not saying this is purely down to wearing contacts vs. glasses but I felt reborn when I got contacts and it obviously made an impression on how I portrayed myself. So, if only for the change, I would defo recommend it.

I'd say go for the laser surgery. I had PRK (similar to lasik, but more painfull, and with a longer recovery time) a little over a year ago and I love it! It's so much nicer to not have to worry about glasses or contacts anymore. How old are you? They usually won't perform the surgery until you are at least in your mid-twenties because your eyes are still growing. If you're still too young, then stay with the contacts of course and maybe just start saving up for the surgery so it's easier to manage financially when the time comes.

BTW it's also nice to actually be able to see the woman in your bed without putting on glasses or having to worry about taking your contacts out before you fall asleep. lol

Go with lasik!
I had lasik about 4 months after I turned 18 and its the best decision I could of
ever made. I still dont have it paid off and your eyes will be dry for a bit after,
but the feeling you get waking up every morning and be able to see makes up
for it all

Personally, I prefer to use contacts & glasses rather than get surgery. One of the main reasons why I do this is because I can use them as fashion accessories ;)

If you take the time to study a bit of fashion, you'll probably learn about how you can use glasses to compliment your own fashion style. When you make yourself look good and rock those glasses, you'll FEEL your confidence jump to the next level. (Did you know that there are even people who wear FAKE glasses just so that they can use them as fashion accessories?) Glasses aren't bad as long as you can make it work for YOU. Go shopping with some female friends sometime so that you can get their opinions on what looks best on you.

I also use contacts often; sometimes just to add a little bit of fun... for example, I might wear colored contacts and give myself green or blue eyes. Sometimes girls will ask about the eye color, and then you can have fun with that convo and work off of it :)

I've pondered different options and personally I'd never get the surgery. This is after reading a great deal (and maybe too much) about them. If I'd had to, then it would be PRK because procedure of Lasik sounds horrible. But do a bit googling yourself.

I wear glasses and sometimes I wear contacts. I used to wear contact pretty much every time I went out at night. But not anymore, for a couple of reasons. 1: I have cool glasses that I like to wear, and 2: I look, oddly enough, younger with my glasses on. I've been told several times that look better with my glasses. Better, smarter, more confident. Sometimes I wear contacs though, depending on what clothes I'm wearing, what look I happen to have.

One tip. When you get contact lenses, get those one-day contact lenses.

Cost-wise, Lasik/PRK is probably cheaper over your lifetime.

I use glasses at home and contacts everytime I go out and thats just cause I feel more comfortable that way, and you should most likely just go with whatever feels right for you. If you enjoy not wearing your glasses, then maybe lasik would be the option for you. But spend time reading about the ups and downs about Lasik first, in my opnion

Im 20, and I have an Uncle who got Lasik. He said it's the best thing he ever did.
Im gonna do the same, because I hate glasses. Really holds one back from playing sports, and all the above.
It's just that it's so expensive for me. 6000 I think for the whole deal. My Uncle only had to do 3000, and he had no side-effects, or anything bad. Lasik is the way to go!
