Interesting. Six days of rest: that means you're only working out 52 days a year. In the video the bodybuilder was doing legs and arms on separate days, meaning only 26 days a year devoted to each. What type of extensive muscle fiber tearing does one have to do on that one day just to get results? It also raises the question what condition will one's body be in on the subsequent six days of rest and recovery? Most of us are not professional bodybuilders and have jobs to work the rest of the week. If your arms are torn and healing from the workout even a desk job behind a computer pushing buttons and stapling papers could be tough.

Depending on the level of intensity the weight (or resistance) and the level which you deplete your self (to failure). The more time it will take for you to recover than for the time to elapse for you to actually grow (the whole reason you "lifting weights"). Could take up to 3 weeks between workouts or more.

Intensity and duration exsist in an inverse proportion. The hard you work the least time you can do it and the more time you need inbetween your workouts.

A desk job is extremley low intensity, unloading trucks or construction job is more intense and you probably could not workout this way. But stress and illness can also effect your recoverabilty and the subsequent growth.

This may help
