I am currently 208 pounds. I was 218 around 4 weeks ago, and I still intend to continue losing it.

IM posting this for the idiots out there telling people, Oh My God I can't lose this weight cuz of "some lame excuse"

I was like that once, but yano what? I started watching how much I ate, refused every second offer to eat, and started finding active crap to do. I despise running, and it's the best exercise there is for weight loss, so i chose walking. Twice the time for the same effect. Every chance I get I play sports like badminton or basketball (competetively) Or if I cant get anyone to play, I lift these wimpy lil 15 pound weights at home. (Shutup i'm too cheap to buy 20's)

Some lame excuses may include you dont have time for crap, don't even bother giving me that bs. In one week take out half an hour every day (take one masturbation session off) and just do anything that's not eating, or sitting there, and I guarantee you in a week or two, you'll have more energy and WILL BE MORE WILLING TO MOVE.

I'll post as I go details of my journey down to my own personal goal of 180 =) (its still overweight but hey its gettin somewhere)

GOOD LUCK[/code]

I just finished almost a year of dieting and lost 40lbs, I finished about three months ago and its been great, it will definatly up your confidence, I had to stay really focused for a year straight but to finally be comfortable with myself is a goal I would have spent years upon years trying to attain. Just thought Id tell you I just did it and its totally possible, so keep it up.

yesterday for example i went out did some shopping had a low calrie lunch walked to a business workshop walked back had a low calorie dinner went to a salsa class then meet some friends in a bar. I reccon I spent from walking up 3 hours in the before my day finshed and i went to bed within the time period i got half an hour walking with heavy bags an hour walking to and from the workshop and 2 hours of salsaso overall i spent 3 hours exursise gently and that was one pretty hectic day

grats pal! nice results there i hope it will defenetly convince you to keep up working!

at 14 i was 194, at 18 i got to 175. everything can be done with determination

another way of seeing things for people who don't find time to train:

1 week = 168 hours.
eating (lets say typical 3 meals of 1 hours including preparation) = 21 hours.
sleeping (8 hours a night) = 56 hours.
woprking (lets say) = 40 hours.
you have now 51 hours free for school, life, and guess what, TRAINING!
lets say your training is 1 hours. you work out from 3 to 5 hours a week. hey pal! you still have at least 46 hours! its not that bad. the hardest thing is to get to the locker room. once there, you'll do what you got to do.

I've been overweight all my life (I could still play sports recreationally, so not a complete lardass), but a recent breakup with a long-term GF motivated me to start losing weight and look into the PUA lifestyle. I'm 6'2", and weighed 265 lbs. before starting to run on the treadmill (everyday for around 35 min, running/walking), and now I'm down to 243. Still a long way to go, but getting there.

Treadmill at home and paintball on the weekends was great exercise, but now that I'm in my own apartment and the weather's getting colder, I'm going to join a gym.

You can be 400 pounds and pick up women, it just makes it much harder.

I'm sure Michael Jordan could beat me with one arm at Basketball, but it'd be harder than with two.

Get me?

So you shouldn't use how you look, or the fact that you don't have washboard abs, as an excuse to justify not going out and gaming women?

Exactly.

I'm a model with washboard abs, and before I learned PUA I still got rejected by girls and got with maybe only 1 out of 10 girls I hit on.

It's all in the smooth talking.

Good looks, however, can get you laid faster.

There are some girls who go in clubs and just look for the hottest guy to fuck/ hit on.

With looks, you have less to "prove" to a girl.

But, Lovedrop is a Master PUA, he's UGLY AND FAT, and he's probably gotten more pussy than me as a medium PUA and I'm a model.

So looks aren't a make you or break you factor.

As FrankCat said it's important to stay focused. you need to develop a routine and stick with it NO MATTER WHAT... Consider the following scenario: You intend to work out 3 days a week and are consistent for the first few months... You miss a day of working out at the beginning of the week and this is what will go through your head: "Why should I work out the other two days, the entire week is a failure anyways." So you may do it once that week... Then the next week your like "I'll take a break this week and get back into my routine next week." So on and so forth. Next thing you know you stop working out and are eating potato chips on the couch watching re-runs of Seinfeld.

Consistency is key.
