I train for strength and speed since I play basketball (I'm a SG). I'm 16 and play varsity as a junior in high school
Just today I squatted (BELOW parallel) 255lbs for 2 sets of 5, a personal record. My PR for the deadlift is 5 reps at 265lbs. I weigh 175lbs.

Im more into machines than anything, but yeah squats are awesome, and 225 pounds at age 16 is impressive.

Here are some videos of my style of training

its 255*lbs 8) . I MIGHT max out at around 290lbs, but I'm scared to try.

Nice man, so i guess your more into building an impressive looking body. I would love to do that after I'm finished with basketball, but for now I train with free weights and stuff to try to be as "functional" as possible. So I just do compound exercises like bench squats, deads, pushpresses, etc. No machines for me.
I'm just glad I got into weightlifting early (age 14) because i can now dunk (i'm 6'0) since 15 years old.

Very nice but why do you go below parallel?
I heard that can fuck your knees but what would I know.
I can only squat 85kg and deadlift 100kg (I'm about 75kg 18yo and only been gyming for 3 months) for 2 sets of just under 5 (just can't break that fucking wall).
