I know, I know, it's been a looooong time since I posted, but I really started missing the community, figured I'd drop a line.

If you've never heard of, attempted, or quit Body For Life, get with it! It's the real deal in health and fitness.

I started at 267 pounds. I'm now at 239. What's more amazing is that I'm gaining muscle and burning fat and unnecessary water, SIMULTANEOUSLY. Everyone seems to think that's so hard to do. Nearly 30 pounds in 7 weeks, I'm down from 25% body fat to 15%. After week 4, I decided to start over again and actually enter the champion's challenge. After this week, I'll still have another 8 weeks before I'm finished. I'll be sporting a 6 pack by then, no worry about that! Just in time for the summer.

Is my game different because of the weight loss/muscle gain? Yes. Gunwitch mentioned the weight factor, and how unnatural it is to carry so much. Perspectives (both yours and others) change when you get whipped into shape. Women are definitely more open to approach now. Besides that, it's a proven fact that being fat means you have more estrogen, which blocks testosterone. Lose fat, and your testosterone works better, making you more masculine in thought and behavior (I don't care what kind of society the news tells us we live in, women still love masculine men on an irresistable, instinctual level). Logically, the leaner a man is, the more masculine he is, plain and simple.

It's a complete package. The nutritional program, the exercise, and some help with proper, reasonable goal-setting. It recommends buying supplements (myoplex, betagen, others by EAS) but that's for the time-saving factor because you get to eat 6 times a day.

I'll say this: there are no miracle pills, nothing "fad" to it. It requires effort, lifting weights 3 times a week, and doing HIIT cardio 3 times a week. HOWEVER, on your "free day", you don't exercise AND you can eat whatever you want. Of course, the more judicious you are with your free days, the better your end results will be.

Read up on it, give it a shot, one run at the program is only 12 weeks. If you have any questions, shoot me a p.m.

That's because for almost everyone on the planet it's a metabolic impossibility.
