This guide is meant for those who never workout. But still there are a few overlooked tips for those that DO workout.

Running will be the first thing on the list... But here's something that's often overlooked: LAYER-UP!!!

Getting started on the run, in order.

Getting dressed.
Layer 1.
Put on a long sleeve tee-shirt, then a pair of sweat pants [called SWEAT pants for a reason] on with the long sleeve shirt tucked in. A pair of socks that you're going to tuck your sweats into. Also, you can put a short sleeved tee shirt over the long sleeve... [this is what I do, but it's not required as much as it just enhances the effect].

Layer 2.
Put on a hooded sweatshirt over top the sweatpants, then another pair of sweats on that your hoodie is tucked into. Throw on your running shoes and put gloves on with the sleeves of your hoodie tucked into them. If your hoodie can close up and be tied, do that as well.

Now you probably look like Rocky or little mac from punch-up when they're training. You're dressed in a way that doesn't allow heat to escape as easily with is useful for burning fat. It also helps you build stamina if you're running for some event or boxing or whatever... but if you just wanna lose weight those are simply an additional bonus.

Warm up [this should be done before stretching].
Run like a quarter mile or some shit... Stay on the balls of your feet and don't let your ankles... [oh wait, this is just to lose weight and not to be a better runner..] yeah, you don't have to run on your toes, but if you much only do so till your calfs hurt then give it a rest... [I'll post more about that later].
Your warm up is running until you sweat. If you're sweating it means your body is warm and trying to cool itself down with sweat and it's time to stretch.

So, do some stretches [if only i had time to post them all, maybe later].
When stretching is done go out running.

I suggest running constantly for a mile for beginners.

When the run is over do crunches and a set of 30 push-ups.
Or just do this work-out [really just do this one].

Then shower-up.
This is actually a rather light work-out but it should help burn off fat if done, not even daily, but bi-daily.

subscribe to the rsd motivation channel. Awesome for motivation. For actually workouts, look at Elliot Hulse and Strength Camp, TMW, and Mike Chang. There are tons of content out there. It is a bunch of simple victories, cut out the bread, increase the protein, remove empty calories, intake nutrient dense foods. A rule I have is that, if it is not in my fridge or house, I will not eat it. I just wont do it.

It's better to be dressed in a way that vents heat. This wont make much of a difference and is more likely to give you a heat stroke.

Apparently theres a running program that is for fat people that gets them up to a 5K. It involves intervals with walking and jogging to make it to 3 miles no matter what. Do this and you'll lose weight faster.

There is so much good info out there much of which is free. Channels like Strength Camp or Elliot Hulse, Bar Starz, Hodge Twins/TwinMuscle, and a variety of others are full of great content. Aesthetics of Greatness/Beastmode are other good channels worth listening too. I will always take bro science over some goof in a Doctors gown or scientist with an opinion who does not even lift. Let the channels help motivate you. I just started following a new routine and I am looking to generate more power. It feels awesome. Lots of girls going to the gym too so, this leaves a lot of room for opportunity. I also do yoga which I think helps fitness, stretching, elongating muscles, tendons, ligaments, and breathing. It feels good and it is occupied by mostly women who anyone fit would share interests with.

Overheating the body to burn more fat? I doubt it works that way, im sure its more efficient to cool the body to lose calories.

You'll burn more fat if you don't over heat yourself and allow yourself to run further for a longer time. This is just plain bad advice.

What the fuck? You store fat in areas of the body like love handles, lower abs, etc because that area is cold not hot. Not sure what the fuck you were talking about. If those areas were warmer, it would aid in burning more body fat rather then storing it.

That's not quite how it works, you don't burn the areas by getting them warmer.

Yes, working out with a sweatshirt and sweatpants will help you lose weight faster, it will not help you get "fitter." Your cardio will be exactly the same. Honestly, running farther and faster is gonna do you more good.

Please be smart when you work out guys.

To be precise, this is not how it works at all.

Here, I cannot believe this thread made me google that. Now please let this thread run its natural course and die its long overdue death.

Side note: If you are obese and are running with extra heating to burn more fat, you will look extra ridiculous.

High intensity low interval training will help. Insanity workout style stuff.

And also cut nasty things out of your diet or you are wasting your time. No fried food and cut out bacon (pork generally), cheese, mayonnaise and beer.

The main thing is taking action. The high heat workout thing is not really the issue here. The main thing is just taking action, whether you choose to do boxing circuit training or swimming, just get off your ass and do something strenuous every other day.

And sex. The more wild sex you have, the more your abs will show through.

Yeah, go with the Livestrong article...

Do you know how pills that increase metabolism work? One of the things that they do is increase body temperature, for example Ripped Fuel. Ripped fuel is a "weight loss pill" that uses this concept. They also use a shit ton of caffeine.

Don't screw around with caffeine. It fucks up your heart. I had a friend who died last year after she drank 4 cans of Red Bull.

Just eat blueberries / raspberries, lean chicken, porridge, tuna and brocolli. And vegetables generally. Supplements make your shit stink. If you must do supplements, stick to additive - free protein shakes and stay away from testosterone / anabolic / caffeine shit. Don't mess with your blood pumper. You've only got one and you can't replace it.

yeah, so does DNP. There is a difference between increasing your thermogenesis and wrapping yourself in plastic like a running burrito, dammit.

PD: I want to see ONE credible source backing up the statement that adding external heat burns fat.
PD2: Even if it did, the decrease in performance would be so dramatic that you would be better off just running for longer.
