Hi my names Peter I bin fat my whole life. The lowest point in my life was when i was 16 and 300 pounds. That was right around the time i found the game and it was one of the things that motivated me to lose weight. i managed to lose 120 pounds and i went down to 180 but recently i gained 50 pounds and i am trying to lose it again. I am 19 and im looking for a group of puas anywhere who want to motivate each other lose weight and get in shape. you are more likely to get in shape if u go throught it with others instead of alone. i know people say looks dont matter if ur confidence and game is tight. but ur body does affect ur game and confidence.

Wanna lose weight well....
It's quite easy. It's all about your mental strenght. Learn to develop HATE towards food. See it as disgusting necessity rather than something pleasurable. Tell it to yourself so much you'll actually start believing it. Have 5 healthy small meals a day. With an occasional snack like an apple here and there if you chose to. And when you do eat , eat VERY slow. Enjoy and taste every bite slowly. When you feel hungry remind yourself how much you hate food and drink some water and occupy yourself with something. Clean the house or the garage or do something equally active. Also have a cheat day one day a week. I would recommend Sunday. And whatever you do don't feel guilty about it. Just go out and have fun with it. Just tell your wife you're going to the gym and go bang your ex or some other hot chick.( That was a joke. Laugh. I'll wait...) Okay. Moving on. Also Ideally you wanna do some cardio everyday (at first at least, you can ease up once you're close to your goal weight) I would say 30-45 minutes a day will suffice. Also depending on your current physical fitness you wanna do some weight training. I cut down to say 2 times a week (I already have muscle I don't need to go crazy I just need to concentrate on losing the fat) . See it's that simple. Forget diets, forget all this bullshit that's only meant to make people rich. Just do this and you will be good. Now go at it fatsos!

I can appreciate your sense of solidarity and reciprocal motivation, but what happens when Bill expects Tim to meet up with him to work out, and Tim bitches out, or Tim has an emergency. Does Bill use that as an excuse not to work out and then go cheat and get McDonalds since "technically" this is not his fault? Of course that's what he'll do. And that's why you can't rely on others when it comes to personal things like fitness and health.

If you do it all yourself, or at least have that mentality, then no one else can disrupt that. No one else can be blamed. No one else can be used as an excuse. I can't tell you how many overweight people I've heard blame spouses, children, work out partners, health problems, job, etc., for their weight problem. If you have no one else to blame but yourself, your hatred of yourself and your weight will grow. That's actually a good thing, because the only fix is eating right and getting into the gym--something you have 100% control over. It has nothing to do with what some other guys on a message board are doing. That's all you.

I'm still overweight but nothing like I was. I have never had a problem with my weight but I did lose a lot by accident.
How?

In my quest to become more Alpha and not get beaten on by a boyfriend/ brother etc. I started doing a little bit of kickboxing. Long story short I have a natural talent for all in fighting and am now 15 KG lighter. Do something high activity.

Don't be embarrassed, think of it as character building... How am I so comfortable with my weight. I had my fat arse out sweating during a kickboxing class a couple times a week and tried, and failed... I'm not going to bullshit and say it went well, to hit on women while sweaty and red faced. If you worry you will turn to food for comfort

That is what it was like for me.

i couldnt agree more with what your saying...

after suffering a serious knee injury my weight fluctuated to 18 stone (yes im old fashioned and use the oldschool weighting system) but getting involved in the game has driven me to shed the pounds...

as my weight drops i begin to notice more girls noticing me. and to be honest, it gives me a bit of thrill and drive to see what i could do if i got to a position i was in good shape! im down to 16 stone 6lbs SPAM and want to lose another 1 1/2 stone (dont want to drop too low as i am keen to get back playing rugby and dont want to be too light) but at that weight it would be a happy medium for me personally.

I guess what im saying is use the game as Motivation.... drive yourself to be better and see where you can go. Positive mentality = positive results!
