Hey guys, never had an STD so don't know the best way to go about this.

Girl I slept with twice without protection has just checked positive for Chlamydia, stupid but I'm friends with the girl and thought I could trust her. I'm 99% sure I didn't give it her (from her Ex-BF) I think who cheated on her quite a bit.

I get that this stuff happens, but it's new to me and I have questions.

What should I do, go and buy the Antibiotics straight away, or go get tested first?

What is the likelihood of catching STD's from just a couple sessions of sex?

Any other advice (Obviously strap-up in future) would be useful thanks

1. Wear a condom, imagine if she had aids. It is so incredibly dumb to go raw.

2. Go get tested, lucky for you there is medication for clap.

GO get tested first. Why buy the anti-biotics unless you know you have it? I think chlamydia is fairly curable, it doesn't stick around like herpes. Of course, I've never had an STD/STI, so I'm just going off of what was taught to me in my Human Sexuality class and my own experience.

Same thing happened to me. Went and got tested, had the clap. Took a course of antibiotics and it went away in a week. Had another girl tell me she had it two months later, went and got tested and was clean.

Moral of the story is wear a condom unless you regualry want a doctor to shove stuff donw your penis.
