To date, this is the hardest thing physically and mentally i have ever put myself and my body through. It was Tough.

18km to go, and my calfs started to cramp, then my quads where twinging and in so much pain. the last 6km my left knee which felt like the IT band was so sore also.
I used all available electrolyts + used 4 gels on the run, which helped... ALOT!
Despite having 3 black toenails 4 blisters and literally cannot walk Im on Cloud9 at
the minute.

The Moral of my story today
'You can do anything you put your mind to, Think positive + failure is not an option'

PS - I do not advise anybody to go through the same pain as me and undergo a Marathon 26.2mile - 42km WITHOUT Training.

Oldskool :)

Congrats. That's a long ways to travel by foot. Did you place at all out of the group of finishers?

I finished the race as that was my aim. The time was 4.30hr - really happy.

Although this was pysically + mentally draining, the mind proved to be a very strong willed and made me keep going.
I cant walk today though :(

Cheers !!

Your time is decent in fact good for someone with zero training. It's because you had residual fitness and endurance from previous training but did not run because
of injuries.Normally that's what you will feel like the next day.Hats off to you. :D

Fair play,
-maximum man points for ignoring all pain and finishing it.

-Maximum stupidity points for doing it with 0 prepartion, you couldn't make a hard achievement any harder XD

Now use your brain power of achieving anything and put it to good use!

Good job,

Boyo
