I remember when I was very little we'd always have drive-through breakfast and huge late dinners. In my family we never counted calories, and cake never had calories for us. However when I grew up I realized that cake does have calories. As you can see I am very overweight now, and honestly I hate it. Now I live alone, and I feel like I do not have to eat like I did anymore. But it is very hard because I do love pies and all unhealthy foods I should not eat. There were a few times when I wanted to lose weight fast, however after being on a diet for a week I would give up because I maybe just don't know how to do it. Now I would like to try to lose a lot of weight again cause I've heard from my friend about weight loss products. She says these pills are great, and they can really help me. Do you think it’s a great idea to lose body fat with diet pills?

Diet pills are not the way to go. Most are gimmicks which are portrayed as cutting edge science through clever marketing techniques. The ones that are effective often contain substances that have been known to cause health problems. Several fat burner supplements have been taken off the market and are on the banned substances list of various sports organizations.

The reason you are obese is because you developed the habit of overeating with your family. The circumstances with which you grew up in have resulted in your current weight/body image.

It is within your power to control this. Losing a tremendous amount of weight is not about putting in a 20 minute cardio session a day, its about changing your lifestyle your sense of discipline, your ability to set short/long term goals and your initiative to pursue those goals. People who have undergone radical changes to their body type not only benefited from better health and physique but a leap of progress in their character. You have so much more to gain from losing weight than a better bloodwork printout.

As far as the difficulty of dieting, it will never be easy. When you are dieting, measure progress by the scale and the mirror, not exclusively one or the other. And a sign of knowing that your diet is working is that you will experience periodic ravenous cravings, cravings for foods you might not even have tried or liked will suddenly seem very appealing. But all that is happening is that certain hormones and chemicals are released that trigger the sensation of hunger. So do not feel as if you are hurting yourself if you are forcing yourself not to eat during these powerful cravings.

Overeating makes you fat like OTIS states.

Count your calories and if you are actually serious visit http://forum.bodybuilding.com/forumdisplay.php?f=16 and read up on some stickies.

I have been cutting down body fat through diet and wieght lifting. Truthfully cardio is not even needed. It's good to have to make your cardiovascular health better but fat loss can easily be achieved through diet alone.

Diet pills are all fake and gay. Seriously! Any studies that have been conducted always are "pills combined with diet and excercise". What do you think is creating the fat loss? Not the pills. Also a high number of studies are not even done on humans, they use rats, the rats don't die and then magically the pill apear on shelves.

Also all these sugary shit foods you mention are addictive. I removed refined sugars completely and only take in real food sugars. Sugars from cakes, sodas, candy bars will fuck with your cravings and make you over eat. Changing your diet around will be hard at the beginning but becomes second nature. I highly suggest you check out that link, it has way more info then you will find asking questions on here.
