I've been weight training hard for 2 years now, although I've always been fit and done strength and conditioning (through judo/circuits etc) I have never been big... when I started I was pretty ectomorph (skinnyyyy, but ripped, fit and fairly strong) however I am trying to get bigger, bigger and bigger! This is proving to be a struggle (I was making quite a few mistakes which have naturally been fixed over 2 years). So I was thinking it is probably due to low testosterone levels... are there any safe and effective ways to boost testorone other than training like a machine!?

Thought this might be the answer haha... I already smash out the dead lift, squat and clean and jerk; my performance goes up and up but don't see much in size! Ah well, as with everything... the slow, hard route it is then.

You realize everyone is diffrent, your genetics might not allow you to get big just stronger. Besides sterooids you have a limit, and there is no need for steroids, just be happy with what you have. It is called fitness its about health not about looks.

eat more, rest more, if you want to go natural... There's triazole and, well.. pretty much anything from driven sports.

it's reasonably priced in the US. Don't buy it in europe. (30$ vs 50 euros... >_>)

Then there's DAA, which is best taken with natural anti-estrogen. It increases testosterone, but some think it also increases estrogen by at LEAST the same amount. probably more. So.. yeah.. That's not neccesarily a bad thing while bulking though.

Drink lots of water, whole milk, nuts, eggs, brown rice etc. Do some research about ectomorph specific training. I used to be very skinny (about 150lb at 5ft11). After two years of pumping the KG's and eating like a monster im a lean 190. Consistency is absolutely key!

I know how tough it is being an ectomorph but packing on serious size is very possible if you know how :) no need for testo boosters

Make sure to Train back and legs using compound lifts like squats, plate loaded leg press, and deadlifts which have been proven to release significant amounts of testosterone into your system.

And there could be plenty of reasons to why you are not gaining, low testosterone levels is a genetic determinant but not so much to the point that your gains should be halting after two years of training. Learn more about training and nutrition and supplementation and go from there to improve your gains. Knowledge is key.

I have tried Gaspari Halodrol and it is reasonable. You guys in the US and the UK can get some pretty decent otc test boosters, unlike in my over regulated country. If you use them at the same time as an AI like 6-oxo you should get a bit of a boost.

One thing to remember is, a lot of these otc test boosters wont raise your test levels sky high. They are better used to bring your test levels from low to about normal. Don't expect dramatic results if your not taking gear. A lot of it will just give you expensive urine.
A couple worth looking at are Formadrol Extreme and Animal Test. Note that I haven't actually tried these myself, they do have good reviews though.

Also, eat steak, and lots of it.

To get bigger EAT every 2hrs and healthy. Look up yoyo dieting its similar to what bodybuilders do but a bit different. Plus for natural boost in testosterone use ZMA. Its the closest thing to steroids which doesn't have any side effects.

Trust me if you want to get bigger, eat whatever the hell you want. Don't eat healthy. Try to aim for .8g-1g of protein per pound of body weight or lean mass. Get enough calories. Calculate your TDEE to find out at least how much you should be consuming. Trust me, it's a lot higher than you think. Eating dirty is the only way you'll get there without buying mass amounts of healthy food, and constantly eating all day.

Needing to eat every 2-3 hours for maximum results is a myth. You can eat one meal for the entire day if you can fit all your protein and calories into it. Drink a lot of milk and eat a lot of peanut butter sandwiches. I eat a lot of canned tuna. It is a fast and easy way to get a protein-filled meal when you don't feel like putting in effort to make something. just eat it straight from the can. I'm also a fan of canned chili. You do not need to eat overly-healthy to gain muscle or stay lean.

"Our results indicate that insulin resistance in men is associated with reduced testosterone secretion," Dr. Pitteloud

Insulin resistance in muscle and fat cells reduces glucose uptake (and also local storage of glucose as glycogen and triglycerides, respectively), whereas insulin resistance in liver cells results in reduced glycogen synthesis and storage and a failure to suppress glucose production and release into the blood

At constant energy intake, triglyceride levels are positively correlated with trans fat intake and strongly inversely correlated with omega-3 intake.

Anyone telling you eat what you want, that would make low-testoerone levels worse. Insulin is a horomne and block hormone receptors from getting testoerone. So less calories and more protien will help your Low-T levels. If thats the problem?

I doubt Low T levels is the problem. The OP needs to learn more about training and nutrition science rather than some random thing like Test levels

Yes I agree that he probably neeeds better training and nutrition. But my post is about how nutrition can effect Testoterone. More Protien and More Omega-3s is something no bodybuilder would argue aganst. Also if your not a fan of supplements that means eat lots of Fish.
