4. Don't listen to any advice that your friends or family say,getting muscular is not complicated,eat your food and lift heavy
I get the feeling you will not last long in the gym,if you are not serious don't even bother starting.

Absolutely hit the nail on the head. Going to the gym and doing just abs and arms is pointless. You need to workout every part of your body otherwise you will be way out of proportion.
There's nothing worse than a person with a massive upper half yet twig legs.
