| Offline | | MPUA Forum Enthusiast | Joined: Sun Jan 10, 2010 2:31 am Posts: 34 | | I personally have been taking muay thai while I was away at school, I prefer it to Wing Tsun because it places a greater emphasis on cardiovascular and muscle conditioning whereas Wing Tsun is a more technical form from what I have seen. Both would help you if you were to get into a real fight but I think someone trained in Muay Thai would be much more fit than and therefore able to take a hit better than someone trained in Wing Tsun.

you will have to learn it and practise it allot
then it becomes second nature so if an attacker comes with a punch you immediatly react like you learned _________________ I have just found out about this system.
And it quite intrigued when i read about it

If you want to learn how to defend yourself, boxing and muay thai all the way. Boxing should come first though so you have your hand defense and offence skills set. Also ppl punch more than they kick so youll be dealing with more punches in a street fight. Then after you do some boxing take up muay thai and practice it well and learn how valuable a muay thai kick to a street fighters shin bone and thigh muscles is.
