OK thankyou,
Now why I need to lose 5 pounds ish.

I do alot of crunches, and cardio and sports.
But I still have that layer of fat over my abs that I cannot seem to get rid of.
Without it..I would have amazing abs.

The only time my abs show are when im cold (fat/stomache shrinks)
and my abs look good.

I know I have abs..there just buried under that stupid little layer of fat :0

Acne is caused by many things. Not enough sun. Not enough water. To much greasy foods. To much touching of the face. Not enough vitamins... it goes on. So just make sure take vitamins and drink water. I personally drink 2 - 2 1/2 gallons of water daily.
I am thinking that it was because (I thought it was healthy) eating an insane amount of fruit a day.. 2 apples 2 bannaas alot of grapes..
and some more before i went to sleep
I think it was the sugars in that before i wen to sleep.
Because even if i eat bad food lieke mcdonalds i never used to get acne.

I would substitute that breakfast for oats aka SPAM. But the one you have to make, comes in a really tall container. From Quaker. Add some honey to it for flavor, or peanut butter. If you don't like that, start eating egg whites. 2-3 egg whites do the job.
Ok thankyou, I will try that

I would substitute the banana and granola bar for about 1/3rd of a can of tuna + cottage cheese. Nothing else in it. Just those. Good protein.
Tuna and cottage cheese mixed?
WHat about a whole can of tuna/salmon with a salad. 1/3 will not fill me up

Thankyou for tips so far. I did not know that eating cottage cheese was so good before you went to bed.. that might fineally become my much desired snack before bed

I personally don't recommend a full can a day. One can is able to last you 3 days. You are not supposed to get 'filled' up per say when you are cutting weight. You are supposed to be satisfied. Think I get full by eating 1/3rd can of chili or 1/3 can of tuna+cottage cheese? lol I am a lot bigger than you, but you have to adjust your diet.

Abs are prepared in the gym but made in the kitchen.

Salad is OK, but lettuce and other salad greens are actually the toughest thing to digest. It does push everything out of your body though.

Lastly, I eat a cup of peaches and cottage cheese before bed. Taste good together in my opinion. And yes, mix the tuna and cottage cheese. If still to dry add a tiny bit of ranch.

There is also a good amount of information on Bodybuilders.com

You can also buy supplements and things there a lot cheaper than going to GNC. Just thought I'd throw that out there as well!

Ya. It is hard to eat and not get full at first.

Spinach, yuck. lol I never looked into it because I personally hate it.

I have those pre cut peaches in a cup and drink the juice out of them then add the cottage cheese.

Most fruits are high in sugar, its good to have some during the day but I don't think so before bed. I am not much of a fruit eater.

I'm around 6'0 235 pounds. I've given up soda, sweets, and fast food in general the last month. I was just wondering what are some foods that are better for you than you think? I didnt do this to lose weight at first, I've been sleeping like a baby since I started doing this. I've lost probably 10 pounds and have also been lifting weights.

my dermatologist just prescribed me an antibiotic called doxycycline for my acne. What effect will this have on my bodybuilding goals? I've read it kills your good bacteria which can hurt your digestive system=less gains. Is this true? Also what other negatives are there to taking an antibiotic while lifting weights? Thanks

How bad is your acne?

Eating cleaner, touching your body/face less and getting your daily dose of fish oil should easily solve the problem... coupled with the sun of course.

My acne is moderate. Not horrible, but definitely doesn't look good. I eat pretty clean right now. (4-6 meals a day) High protein, moderate fat and carbs. I really try not to touch my face. Maybe I should try fish oil and more sun. That could help, but I dont think it will fix the problem completely...
