What do you do in the gym?

Pumpington's right - consistency and diet are where people fall down usually.

Linked with that - somebody above recommends 1.5-2hrs at the gym each session. That's fine but for me not sustainable. Focus on intensity and you only need to be in there for 45 mins a session. keep your rest periods to the length they should be, lift as heavy as you can whilst keeping perfect form, done in under an hour - better workout and more likely to be consistent with it when it's not a slog which ruins your social life.

Thanks everyone for your replies. I haven't done what I should have and have been pretty inconsistent. Been a lot better the last few weeks and starting to enjoy it again.

Haven't yet improved on my eating habits, but I do have at least one healthy meal a day. I've found a plan that I will be starting in three weeks time though and it includes a lot of guidelines for nutrition.

One question for those who have followed plans before, what do you do when you can't workout for a few days? Thanks

I prefer outdoors running! All year around! So, I do nothing in the gym)

I think i am also stuck with my fat as i am a member of a local gym for past 4 months but only can reduced 4lbs. Really worried about it now i am 86 kgs but i can't understand how can i loss my weight. Working hard and junk food is not my routine 1 or 2 times i used in a month. i am also using green tea 2 times a day and mostly skipped my meals of the day. Anyone can suggest me better that help me to lose my weight rapidly?
