Need help with my diet

Just to give you a heads up a lot of knowledge about fitness and body building have changed a great deal overtime. Theres a lot of crap/myth info out there even in bodybuilding site.

I did my extensive research on this topic 6 months ago and found a bunch of old info that thought to be true now found to be false.
Few example.

1. Anabolic window not as short as people think. Hint post workout shake isn't needed.
2. Dextrose will not help you post workout.
3. Eating at night/midnight munches does not affect you unless your eating over maintenance
4. 5-6 small meals isnt any better for you. I have no problem with 5-6 meals if it's what's helping you manage your food intake or it works well with your schedule. Other than that you won't see a gain from eating 5-6 vs 3 meals a day.
6. Avoiding certain foods/carb/fat. If it fits in your macro (protein/fat/carb) intake eat it.
7. In regards to clean vs dirty diets. Clean is certainly better for your overall health but not needed to have a killer body. I for one eats fast-food and junk food on the regular basis an actually got of a cutting phase eating fast food and my six pack is showing and I have a leaner body than ever.
If I can have home cook meals all day I would but convenience is what makes my choice.


And I always thought fitness and bodybuilder goes through the same diet. Once is just more focus on building bulk but the idea is the same.
Calorie in and calorie used is what's going to determine your body composition. And that's that. Assuming macros are covered

The calorie intake is based on an AVERAGE person, if you eat less then 2,500 than you will lose weight, if you eat more you gain weight.. Intake isn't that important, but it certainly is better to take some thing pre- and postworkout. Same goes for when you wake up, taking a proteinshake with oats is the best there is, because of the body that needs fuel.

With 6-7 meals I keep my overall food intake more consistent, so that i'm not super hungy or have the feeling that I ate too much at once. Again, all the knowledge i have comes from Simply Shredded and other sites/vids from bodybuilders.

If you just simple want to lose weight you should eat more frequently and smaller portions.. True story man seriously.

I have been on and off in diets and i failed not because im hungry but because junk food cravings just take over' so i decided to post my usual diet to see what people think for breakfast i usually have a viarety of things but try to stay around 400 calories why lunch i drink a Nuetrament, which is like a meal replacement; i usually drink this with about 120 calories of wheat things or some low calorie snack,
home around three have a turkey sandwich usually 230 calories gym until 5 at six a low calorie subway sandwich usually half at 8 the other half usually drinking water occasionally a drink of soda (addicted to coca cola hard to completely stop.
Calories:
nuetrament 360
wheat thins 120
breakfast 400
turkey 230
sub Way 750
Total about 1600 calories
Is there anything i should cut down in? any suggestions? i try to cut down on cheese on my sandwiches but its hard to do. I also attend school so lunch is hard to charge sometimes.
