Has anybody else had success with calisthenics bodyweight exercises?

I've been doing calisthenics for almost two years now. I'm never getting another gym membership. It's much healthier working out your entire body rather than isolating muscle groups. I like that I can do it outdoors most of the year or at home. I can do 15-20 minutes if I don't have much time during the day.
I used to be a gym rat but could never get defined abs. Always in the bulking phase. With calisthenics I'm gaining muscle and cutting. Also there are cool tricks to work towards, like muscle-ups and hand stands.
I eat a paleo diet and feeling better than ever. Going back to the gym feels like I'm in a cage.
When I do make it to a gym, it's because my friend invited me and I usually end up out lifting them.
Discovering calisthenics has changed my life.

tell that to an MMA fighter or a real life strongman
