Does anyone have experience with adding testosterone to your diet?

And can it help fight being overweight? I am sporting a lot now, using protein shakes to make sure I don't run out of protein. But I think adding testosterone to the mix might help.

The safe way to go is using D-Aspartic Acid. Does anyone have experience using this, and/or using real testosterone supplements?

Thanks for sharing.

It depends on how old you are, DAA works alright if you are late 20's up otherwise any younger probably wouldn't do much. Test charge is allot better, libido goes through the roof on that stuff. Do you mean testosterone as in steroids? if so, yes it helps but your diet needs to be in check still and you need to train hard but it is a big step up from natty stuff and there are possible side effects.
(i'm a personal trainer and bodybuilder, PM if you want more advice)

Depends on your goals really. If you're looking for just whacking on loads of muscle, then it will probably help. If you're lookin though for just general fitness, or for sports fitness, then you probably don't really need much.

Like most things, I think it's better if you can get it from your diet. Google high testosterone foods, but a lot of them will be the same as a high protein diet. So if you're taking in a lot of protein for your goals (from dietary sources not shakes) then you should probably be ok.

Personally, I think a lot of the testosterone hype at the moment is over rated. Unless you've got medical level low testosterone, it's probably not going to make much of a difference at all to your fitness regime to add a bit here and there. Especially if you're looking more for the general and sports fitness than you are for getting body builder type body. It can also play havoc with your hormones and cause acne, doesn't always, but if it does, then you might want to ask yourself whether the fairly slim benefits are worth it.

IMO, if your goals are anything less than getting a body builder physique, you can get by without pretty much any supplements other than perhaps the odd protein shake, maybe a bit of creatine, and a good multi vit (and even those are only really for time and money purposes rather than actually being necessary). Anything else is probably not going to make a huge difference if your normal every day diet is good in the first place.

If you start injecting testosterone into your thigh you will lose weight and build muscle just by sitting on your couch. No joke.

I have personal experience with DAA, I found that it increased strength and libido significantly at first, and then started to taper off after 3 weeks. So cycle it on and off. (A month on, a month off)

Test booster are hit or miss for strength and libido. Most test booster work in degrees, they will usually help somewhat or can be effective. Unfortunately many can be overpriced.

Im 21 and have been working seriously since 14. All the above I know from experience/ trial and error.

As for testosterone injections. I know a few people that take them, and they are very effective. Additionally, injecting apparently gives you an intense alpha male feeling. All that being said, there are health and legal risks, not mention the hassle of sticking a needle in you ass.

Two things:

1) Testosterone boosters are an iffy subject. You really shouldn't need them unless you have a legitimate medical condition and/or you're above the age of 45-50ish and am unable to produce normal levels of testosterone anymore. You can increase your testosterone yourself. Plus, consistent intake of testosterone boosters can lead to your body recognizing that you have an abundance of testosterone and unless you're living in the wild and having to fight for your life everyday, you don't need that much. Once your body recognizes this, it will begin to quit making testosterone itself leading to a dependency on testosterone boosters and a plethora of other problems. You can increase testosterone through exercise, diet and lifestyle. In exercise, use compound exercises like bench press, dips, military presses, curls, pull-ups, deadlifts, squats and lunges. Eat diversely: have vegetables and some form of lean protein at every meal. Eat nuts, fruits, vegetables, chicken, beef, fish, etc. Have sex, get enough sleep, quit masturbating as much, change your attitude/outlook on life, be happy, drink enough water, get sun.

2) Consistent intake of Aspartic Acid can lead to decreased functioning of sexual organs. No sex sounds like no fun to me.

Hope this helped.

Thanx Bedrock. I was doubting about it and have to agree with what you say. I have noticed feeling more "manly" ,so to speak, since I have been doing such exercises (under the guise of a personal trainer) and eating more healthy.

So thanks for the sound advice.

God bless you.
