It really depends on your body type. Start eating better and doing 30 minutes of exercise a day and you'll get into decent shape. Go at it slowly otherwise you'll have stretch marks.

Do extra physical activity throughout the day, like using the stairs instead of the elevator. Also instead of eating big meals eat lots of smaller snacks throughout the day (grazing).

285. I'm fuckin up there. I don't know my exact body far but when I was in wrestling the physician dude said I was supposed to be 175lbs

I'm a pretty in shape dude. I really think you need to evaluate what you're eating as well. Feel free to PM me I think I could give you alot of advice if you're interested.

Here are two things I would say would make an immediate impact:
1) Go low carb. There are a lot of choices. You should like a commited dude so look into the Paleo Diet. You WILL have results.
2) Get yourself a jump rope. It's the most inexpensive thing on the planet but possibly one of the most effective. I don't know what your level of commitment it and while you'll find me at the gym everyday if you're not ready to do that you could literally commit to push-ups, pull-ups and some stomach work along with the jump rope and you will see some big changes.
