Hi, a lot of people doesn't know what would be their most optimal weight for health and looks. some people use outdated old bmi range. Each person have diffrent height, frame size. Thanks KnightDK for sharing this link. I have visited this site and learned some great information. I think for losing weight it is important to make a plan and setting up a goal to lose weight. It really helps in losing weight and tells us that how much we need to lose weight.

Actually, knowing how much you need to lose or what weight you want to be at is completely irrelevant. That's like a poor guy sitting around telling himself that he wants to have a net worth of $2.75 million dollars. What's the point?

Once you start losing weight you'll be in the position to control how much more you want to lose. Based on how you look and feel you can then decide if you want to keep losing or put on more muscle (which will mean not losing weight).

If you want to focus on weight, focus on losing a certain amount each week and month. Shoot for that tiny attainable goal rather than some massive number which will seem daunting and unreachable for the first year or two.
