fitness: first 2 weeks

I started doing fitness lately, i bought a card for a month. i have a friend who tells that in the first 2 weeks, you break down some muscles, and after that, that you buildings muscles goes very fast.

When i start to work-out after after an idle period, my muscles always feel pumped up. so i wondered if what my friend says is true.

and secondly, i've also heard that you should fitness each 2 days, so leaving a day between. is it bad if you sometimes do fitness the day after?

Excercise is a stress on the body, you lose muscle after every work out than theres a recovery period after that period your body can overcompensate (growth) if you workout prior to this you've short circuit the process. Also you need to train with more intensity each time. "Pump" is only bloood volume if you measure your arm than get a pump and measure your arm again it will measure the same, true with all muscles (except the penise which is technically a gland)
