Hey guys,

I've seen a lot of these new "blogs" around advertising this set of stuff, I wanted to get a second opinion: should I buy these? I am 20, and lean, not that advanced with my workout

Noo dude do not buy these.. First of I never really trust infomercials in general. Ive been lifting for about a year and I've done a lot of sports that involve needing to be in great shape like wrestling and mma. Im no giant powerlifter or anything but Im looking pretty good. Go to GNC or some nutritional store instead of an ad online. If you're a begginer I would reccomend just getting a nutritional shake supplement powder like muscle milk or whey protein and always take it at least within 30 minutes after your workout. It would be good to take one before bed and in the morning with breakfast too so you always have enough protein in your system..after your workout mix it with water too so it gets in your system faster than having it with milk would. Theres some other stuff you could have too but isnt absolutely necescarry because it can definitely be expensive. It all depends on your goals and the workout that your doing..pm me if you got any questions man or want details.

when it comes to new people in the gym there easily influenced by ads like this.. i kno because like everyone else i used to be one! ive been lifting for 7 years and am a personal trainer nothin can replace a good, sound, consistent, weight lifting routine and nutrition! supplements can only do so much...specially if your routine lacks organization, periodization, intensity, different exercises, form etc..

They're all fake. I've come along way with my body compared to how it was. Forget them big advertisements of supplements. If anything use, themorbol, BCAA, CLA, those kind of products or accai berry is good to aid weight loss, also use protein supplements if you can't constantly eat meat.

Main thing is diet and training, if correct results will happen within a month!

Most suppliments are pretty useless, so unless you are lactose intolerant you dont actually need anything, and if you really want to try some buy fish oil, whey protein and possibly creatine monohydrate, and some multi vits.
Other suppliments like No-Xplode, AdreNOline and other ,,arganine" suppliments mainly base on simple things like coffeine wich is much easier to get by just drinking coffee and gives you the same resaulst, even though they have a propierty blend list it doesnt meen it has the stuff in big enough doses. Same with weight gainers, most of them are just simple carbs plus protein, easier to just buy whey protein and eat some sugar after workout.

This is a bit hard to understand since my main language isnt english but the bottom line is: Suppliments are exspensive rip-offs in most times, just buy the cheapest creatine and whey protein you find.

Go see someone who can balance out your diet and if you're unsure about if you need supplements have someone with a medical degree check out your blood. Most of the time you don't need these supplements. They are a million dollar business and they want to make you believe that you need them but actually you only need a balanced diet.

For me personally:

I eat 6 times a day. Three main meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and three smaller meals. ( 10 am, 4 pm, 10 pm) These meals are nothing special but they have a lot of vegetables in them. On training days I eat some more carb rich things to get an extra boost. Also avoid sodas and stuff like red bull! You can drink one of these after training as sort of a reward but otherwise they tend to provide you with too much energy that is turned into fat. (You don't want that!) Water is the way to go!

I train hard and I get results, routine and diet is key. Stay off junk for a starter and try to limit carbs, don't eat a lot of carbs after 7-8pm anyway, that way your body can't store them.

Supplements do work, it depends where and when. I use whey isolate, BCAA within my diet. The extra protein is needed because it is inconvenient to make a source of protein all the time and would be very costly, so shakes come in handy and the majority of people who know how to train and get results use them.

Your right, carbs are what we burn, carbs are basically energy calories, that if not used, they turn to fat. Eating carbs before you run is good or any workout to be honest, make sure your packing enough protein in too though, or you'll lose much muscle tissue and gains will take alot longer.

The other only 3 supplements worth considering are......

1 A potent multivitamin/mineral supplement.
2 Undenatured whey protein.
3 Fish oil.

Agreed but supplements again can help.

Get yourself some Cod Liver oil, some whey isolate protein (had zero carbs and zero fat practically!) Maybe some amino acids as the body can always do with extra, any good nutritionist or personal trainer will tell you that along with a clean diet for at-least 5 days of the week and drinking lots of water, results will come.

I wouldn't spend my money on them. There has recently been a number of court cases against similar supplement companies who used the members "progress pictures" from another internet forum to advertise thier products, despite the fact that the owners of the bodies protrayed made thier transformation using diet and exercise. As far as supplements you will probably only want to consider:

- A solid multi-vitamin product.
- Fish oil for joint support.
- A good quality (not necessarily expensive) protien powder.
- Creatine Monohydrate (optional) (monohydrate only, not any other creatine variation).

I say protien and creatine monohydrate because they both have multiple, repeatable clinical studies in support of thier effectiveness. This is not the case for many other supplements on the market and thier safety and efficacy is still being questioned (and in some cases, such as L-Glutamine and NO, there is significant evidence to suggest they in fact are no more effective than a placebo).

Certainly not the kind of thing I would be spending my hard earned green on.

NO NO NO never listen to ads like this one if it was that easy to get ripped like that in 4 weeks everyone would look that good its a scam big time! good diet good workout plan is all you need (nothing worth having is easy)
