I don't have a gym near by. All I have is 1 20lb. Dumbbell, 2 8lb. Dumbbells, and a Bench. I've been "working out" for like a whole year, and am pretty much the same person ... I came here, to find a routine or something to make me get big, i mean c'mon I'm 130lbs. I need help. thankss

Thats pretty light. I suggest you seek other forms of help on the internet.
But theyll probably tell you to join a gym.

I suggest you do as many body weight exercises as possible

eg.
push ups (on floor, elevated feet, elevated torso)
dips
pull ups
squats
etc

If you have a jungle gym near your house thatll be great!
you should try them out first, let me know how many sets and reps you can pull off, then ill try to give you a proper program.

because i just cant tell you to do 20x5 push ups when you can only do 10every set
yeah give them a try, let us know how you go. remember to push out nearly everything you have at every set.

also you need to eat eat eat. alot of protien and alot of carbs. eat well, alot of fruits and veg so you can get your body working right. you should eat ricidulous amounts btw, liek 4 big meals a day

also sleep. minimum 8hrs a night

very rushed post. let us know how u go

Lift heavy 20lbs dubells and regular floor pushup not going to do it try some HIT routine (high intensity training)

I'm probably exactly the same as you. I was a twig for years, I'm 16 now and up to 135 at 5'11. But I'm a distance runner, so that has something to do with it.

Here's a few things I noticed:

Pull-ups are wayyyy underrated. You can't forget to work your back, it just makes you look bigger. Wide-arm pull-ups are ideal, even if you can only do just one or two, work up. Chin ups are decent, but less helpful.

Pushups are good too. Form is definitely important though. Make sure you go down really deep, because you might as well get as much as possible out of it. No sense cheating!

I do all of my workouts with bodyweight. Pushups, crunches, pullups, trying out handstand pushups now. No weight training for me, at least not yet, but when I'm in the gym I can bench more than almost any of my football friends. It takes work, but it's worth it. Good luck!
