Hi guys,
I'm in my early twenties, about six foot tall and weigh around 11 stones. I'm basically looking to start working hard on trying to get a 'PUA body' ie, perhaps around 13 stones, muscular and toned but not massive. My problem is I don't really know where to begin. I've dabbled with protein shakes a little in the past and had a bit of success with that but never really had a programme to follow. I'd be really grateful if you could tell me how basically where to start and how to eat/ train to get the body I would like. Thanks a lot guys !

what's a PUA body? the majority of self proclaimed PUA's i've seen, have very average bodies. no offense...

so you just want a nicer body?

eat about 6 lean meals a day. ( eat every 2-3 hrs)

find a routine for each body part on bodybuilding. com or whatever and pick one that you like.

preferably mark alvisi's dragon den is my fav.

if you're chubby, gain muscle first, do cardio later on, no need to over complicate things. especially at a beginning state. i can post more later in-depth if wanttt, but if ur not interested then ill stop.

Like AngryBaby said, there's no real PUA body, most PUA's i've seen are not that buff and their strong part is their 'game'

As far as training, I would recommend reading this article:

go to bodybuildingcom and read the article on the supersite called:

What Is The Best Muscle Building Workout For A Newbie? (can't post links just yet :( )

Its a basic 3 day split schedule, just watchout for putting on too much weights, ovetraining (not getting enough rest), and adjust your food intake accordingly.

For food I would recommend 6 smaller meals a day every 2or3 hours like AngryBaby said. Bodybuildingcom has some good articles on this too.

Your food should consist out of proteine-rich food such as eggs, chicken and fish.

This should help you on your way.

I just finished the I Want Six Pack Abs program on this site http://www.mensworkoutguide.com/home.html, and I lost 30 lbs in four months. If you're looking to gain mass, check on the Muscle building program on that same site. Cheesy names, but if you work hard and follow the plan, you'll get results. Other big thing is eating lots of lean proteins, i.e. chicken breasts, egg whites, tuna, etc. I believe for muscle building you want to eat 2 grams of protein for every pound of your body weight.
