Not read all the replys, so I might cover whats already been said, a couple tips are...

1)Plenty sun, sun helps dramatically for me, maybe not hit the sunbeds 7 times a week, but going on them a few times a month deffo helps(Dont go getting addicted to them and ending up with skin cancer, Id feel terrible lol)

2)Cut out or down your intake of greasy/oily foods like pizza and chips/frys, also sugary products are bad, along with too much alcohol, a quick fix is drink low cal beer from a bottle, less sugar and you drink less because your drinking bottles not pints.

3)Wash your hands with soap a few times a day, alot of grease that ends up on your face is from your hands when you touch it, so washing your hands a few more times aday will help reduce this

4)Drink green/herbal tea's, these are high in anti toxics and I've found work to reduce spots

5)Join a gym that has a spa section, going into steam rooms regulary is the best thing to do, unlike saunas which just make you sweat, steamrooms extracts the dirt and shit from your face and cleans it with the steam

6)This worked very well for me, I started swimming a few times aweek, I dont no wether it was the extra exercise or the chlorine in the water but it pretty much keeps my spots at bay, althought it did dry my face slightly in combination with lots of time in the steam room, but a good moisturiser will correct this

Hope this helps

Go with a dermatologist
Don't take advices from people since EVERYONE is different. What works for someone may not work for you.
A dermatologist gives you special medicine for your case. Its better.
I had really bad acne and tried millions of products, but when I saw the dermatologist, she gave me some medicine, some creams and now I'm clean!

i used 2 have bad acne when i was 17/18. the best thing is to go to your doctor and get the tablets. the 1st ones she gave me and the creams didnt really work but if it doesnt go away they can give you stronger ones like roaccutane. This cleared my spots in about 6 months.

Acne dot org has a really good routine. Their secret is the use of benzoyl peroxide. They give guides for using their products or for using other products that you can find in your local store.

The regimen was a little too excessive for me, since I only have mild acne, so I only use the benzoyl peroxide for spot SPAM. I wash my face twice daily, with a very mild cleanser.

The most useful tip I've learned is to use a regular moisturizer instead of shaving cream and also shave with the grain. I don't get any breakouts caused by shaving when I do that.
I can vouch for this website. It helped me, but not enough. IN the end I ended up having to get accutane, which will be the worst 6 months of your life and will bring down your game. So, avoid this if at all possible.

-Shower daily

-Wash your face 2-4 times a day

-Exercise daily

-Get 8 hours of sleep a night

-Eat healthy

-Put rubbing alcohol on your face after you pop a zit. It works.

-Blow dry your face after you get out of the shower. Heat kills acne.

-Don't touch your face.

-Drink plenty of water. Personally I have a gallon of water at home that I drink during the day and then just fill it up once I'm done. It helps remind me to drink lots of water.
