Good or bad?

Right now i take a daily dose of Body Fortress Whey Protein, and i take the workout dose post-workout (of course). I'm moving onto Gold Standard next however.

Creatine is a tried and true supplement. Creatine is used for the development of fast twitch muscle fibers, ie not for endurance muscles, but for bodybuilding . It is definitely good. Be careful to use the appropriate gram dosage. It's been argued whether you need to start low and work your dosage up or if you should just start at the high dose.

I have cycled creatine in the past, it will dehydrate you, so, make sure that you drink plenty of water.

I'm a personal trainer and I have tried creatine with heavy strength training at several occations.
One positive effect that creatine has is that it helps your fast twitch muscle fibers to last a bit longer, what that means in english is that you can lift heavy weights a few more reps than normally which will help improve your strength a lot.
However the draw backs are that to make creatine supplements effective you need to drink loads of water, and your body will retain more water.
This will make you heavier, sure it might make you look bigger but the excess water will cover muscles that you wished looked leaner.
For example: I had a hard time getting a six pack when I was on creatine because of this. As soon as I laid off the creatine the six pack came back.
My advice is that unless you are really thin and scrawny, don't bother!

I'm a naturally a skinny guy so creatine has been working great for me and the extra water weight is actually welcome in my situation. It depends on what your goals are really and where you are at now. If you're already big with lots of muscles and want to start shredding, don't use it. If you are big and don't have a lot of muscle mass, or are small.......you can use creatine to bulk up faster by getting in those extra reps skywalker mentioned, then cycling off of creatine when you start your shredding phase.
