But anyway, a girl I'm dating is pretty hot. A few weeks ago I picked her up at the airport. I had to check my firearm into a police/security checkpoint before entering airport property. They basically put your firearm in a safe and give you a slip to claim it once off airport property.

Anyway, she did not know I had a concealed weapons permit and carried a handgun. When we stopped to pick it up on our way home she was impressed as hell! She said something to effect of, "I'm totally sold on you now! I know you're mentally stable enough so a policeman will hand you a fire arm. Your background is clear enough so the state trusts you with a weapon. And I know I'm safe with you. Besides, a guy w/ a big gun is effin hot!".

Again, here the key is to have the thing legally, and know how to be responsible w/ it....

Yes, it gives the feeling of danger and high value. Though, I'd say the presenting yourself properly first is integral as you don't want to freak her out.

I've been using a cw permit story as a dhv. I've broke up w/ the gf, and it has been working good. I never mention anything about owning/packing a handgun, tho. Just that I have the cw permit.

I wouldn't start waving your gun around...it depends on the woman...

Long story short: Some women get turned off by it...Even if they are comfortable with you.

Also, really not supposed to use a weapon as a pick up prop...It's a weapon, treat it as such...PS, upgrade that 9mm.

I actually don't talk about the weapon. Just the cw permit. The glock is awesome.... But I think .45 desert eagle might have a little more stopping power, but will not fit in the glove compartment of my rubicon.

P.S. The 15 hollow points in the magazine do add to the stopping power of the 9. :p
