Holding a steady job that exposes me to people everyday - I have worked retail with Wal-Mart for almost 4 years now. I talk to hot girls and co-workers each day I work.
Studying - I take classes online and am working on preparing myself for bookkeeping/accounting exams. I also work on personal finances regularly.
Leisure - I am active in Toastmasters International, where I just got elected as the Vice President of Membership after being the Sergeant of Arms and am almost done with my Competent Communication award requirements. I also enjoy playing guitar, fishing, reading, video games, etc... these keep my mind sharp
Future goals - save money, pay off bills, volunteer (I was thinking of applying as a volunteer to the Sacramento Federal Wildlife Refuge for better experience)
These are just a few of my goals I am striving for and/or have accomplished.

Happy 4th of July
- Worked on some more Step Two of my Narcotics Anonymous "Step Working Guides". Wrote in my NA journal and meditated a bit.
- I have today and tomorrow off from work. I was going to go fishing, but my truck is in the shop getting worked on. Work is still going well.
- Studied some more bookkeeping for the AIPB (American Institute for Professional Bookkeepers) exams. It was a bit of a brain drain, so I took a nap and after the nap, it made a lot more sense. I'm working on the first book, adjusting entries, for the 4-part exam series. I also read some personal finance tips about credit card debt and the start of the chapter on insurance from a really good book I have on the subject by the Motley Fool.
- Talked on my phone texts to this cute redhead that wants me to be her boyfriend. I took her to the park at night a couple days ago. She is asking me more sexual questions now like whether I wear "boxers or briefs". She's cute and said I was a "10". More on her as things progress...
- No Toastmasters today since it is a Federal holiday in the US. I have a speech to write for next Monday. It only has to be like 5-7 minutes. I was going to talk about the founder of Toastmasters Ralph Smedley. That should be a fun, interesting lil speech. I rather enjoy public speaking and noticed I can talk to girls a lot easier by learning these skills.
- The saving money part is hard for me, but paying off the bills is getting easier and easier. I have a fatty truck repair bill because one of the cylinder heads on my 1996 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 needed replacement. That's going to cost me a lil bit of savings. My mom sold some of my stocks to cover the repairs. It helps a lot to have emergency savings. I paid off my credit cards in the last few months and don't owe anything there. My Walmart Discover card actually doubled my limit for having my card paid off. It helps to reduce your debt... Now I just have phone, car insurance, and a few medical bills to pay monthly. As much as I dislike living at home with my parents, it is a godsend since I have less monetary responsibilities such as rent. Plus, my parents are keeping me away from drugs and the like.
- I still have to turn in my volunteer application to the Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge, which is 10 minutes South of the town I work in (about a half hour drive from my hometown). I am excited to have another opportunity to work volunteer for a Federal government agency via the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS).
Thanks for reading.
