Hi everyone

Not sure if a similar thing has been posted before, but basically, like everyone in life, i want more money.

I currently work a 9-5 job where i am currently not earning a great deal, however i know that because of the nature of my job this will dramatically change in around 3-5 years time.

I have seen ideas such as blogging etc but was really wondering what is a profitable and flexible way to make use of free time.

Has anyone done anything like this with success before?

any answers would be great, thanks

CG

If you are working in a 9-5 job and not happy with what you are making then I'd use the spare time to better myself in order to get something you enjoy more and can make more at it. Take classes in person or online, get various certifications in order to give yourself more education making you more marketable for a job that will pay more.

Depending on your age that may not be much of an option in which case you could blog if you are a good writer, get an online job, or take up a part-time job.

It isnt that im unhappy with my job, in all honesty i love it, and can happily survive on the wage being as im only 19 and still live at home.
Its not that i wont be earning alot in the future, im pretty confident i will be set for life, its just that being as im in my first year of the training for my job, pay isnt great right now and i like money enough to want more haha

thanks for the reply anyway

Would I do such a thing!? 8)

No, it was more to do with the fact that we live in the same town and wanted to know if we knew each other, as I also work 9-5 and i'm also 19!

Its not all about earning more money, its about managing the money you earn to get more out of it. Do you have a monthly budget drawn up? Also look into property and/or investment in shares. Read a few magazines and books on the subjects first that are relevant to the country you live in. You;ll want to understand the taxation laws, what you can and cant claim as expenses.

Learn to trade the FOREX. I am 22 and won't have to work a real job by the time I graduate in the Spring. My goal is to break 5M dollars by 25. If you dream it, you can achieve it.

Forex is short for foreign exchange trading. It is essentially speculating on the value of one currency against another. And yes its all over the world. In fact, it is the worlds largest financial market. Its a 24 hr/day market. The great thing about the UK is they still have 200:1 leverage whereas the US only has 50:1.

Jesus christ, maverick.

That's insane!
How did you learn..? Reading various books, using any forums? I must say that is pretty damn impressive. I'm 18 and would love to get involved in something like that, seems quite interesting actually.

You have any pointers on were to get started? I would highly appreciate it.

Though I do live in Sweden, but I assume the exchange rates should be the same(?).

Read this entire thread. It's almost 3000 posts long but it has everything you need to get started and more in Forex. We have a live chat too that all of us traders discuss trading ideas and shoot the shit. There's about 10 of us, plus our mentor, who lives in South Beach.

A good place to start educating yourself would be:

www.babypips.com

Go through their free school and you will learn the basics and then you can go from there. Hope to see some of you in that chat soon.
