Wall painting and wall paint (good/bad?)

Hey guys

I'm re-painting my room so I thought about adding some painting to one of the walls (like a character or something).

would you rank this as a good idea or a bad one? (I'm 23, student SPAM).

some of my female friends say it's cool while others say it's too much highschool like.

also, what shouldd I ask the chick to paint? (don't you love pivots?)



btw, any suggestions for wall colors?
